It’s also really useful in V Hilla. Like if you up jump to get out of range of her ground attack, then flash blade back to on top of her. Start using it a bunch and you’ll start seeing times where it’s surprisingly useful

@@noorimz you should pop your instinctual combo after the ori since its wasted while the animation of the ori is up

@@tenix2371is this at any stage of hexa progression or only after some skills are at certain levels? Instinctual Combo gives a damage buff as well and I still see some people in Korea buff it before Origin so I’ve always wondered if there’s a contingent on when to buff it

So here’s what I’ve come to conclusion with Hero’s burst. With try and error, and some practice; it seems that popping IC (instinctual combo) before origins, highly increases your damage input for your Origin Skill. And since the Origin Skill out damage your regular burst, it’s more efficient to pop it before! You can test it out as well: practice mode Hlomien let’s say, and do both. Before and After origin skill and you’ll see the difference:)

As a hero main,, you are bursting right. IC, sword illusion then ori right away

@noorimz theres lots of tips but i think you have really good hands. I was literally shook at how many strings you dodged jumping around like that lol. One thing about the altar. It appears when you get some many strings. This depends on how many lives you have left. So 5 live you need to be hit by 3 strings to get it to appear, 4 lives you need 2 strings and 3 lives you need 1. So sometimes, before she does her test (the fma looking thing), you might need to get hit by the strings on purpose to summon the altar and green skull before the test.

That’s a good point! I might have to get used to getting hit by them and time the FMA so I don’t lose any skulls. Thanks :p I was also shocked when editing this one, I was jumping so much 😅

It feels a bit overwhelming tbh cause she has so many attacks :( Now I know about the timing for her FMA, I didn’t even notice the timer, only when it’s flashing “warning” (I kept checking the hourglass lol) So basically, finesse her instead of jumping all over the place. @@noorimz Yeah, am sure you can clear this easily just play with patience and do not panic. Also i forgot but only use the familiar blue cards on unique fams (the yellow ones), its more valuable to just roll them on those because uniques have better rates.

🫡 Phase Dash it is! Alright lots of tips here, the middle and far right side, no strings hit you at all?! Okay, then full bursting there. The purple and green attack, I need to learn when that happens. Didn’t capture quite yet when that starts. I’ll keep an eye on the candle and when she does her scythe attack, someone mentioned 27min ish or something, or the hourglass; you’re mentioning the small counter below the lives 🤔 Thanks :)

@@noorimz The hourglass and the clock below the lives show the exact same thing. The timer was only added a few patches ago, when previously you could only tell when FMA occurs by looking at the hourglass. She starts using her green/purple attacks when she is below 75% hp. To better visualize Hillas attack animations (or any boss for that matter) go into Options-> Effects -> Check off Show Silhouettes, and also turn down the skill effects of your character. Show silhouettes will put an outline around the bosses's attacks making them more visible, it doesn't look like you have it on, at least not on the recording. Removing a lot of the clutter and excess animation on your screen will make it easier to see attacks, this is also super useful for BM. And yes, there are two "safe" spots on the map, Far right and Middle will never get hit by strings, so you can play around them. Another skill I recommend you get used to combining with phase dash is Into Darkness (3rd Job). It's a short cd blink that puts you behind the boss and in darksight.

Okay I’ll check that “new” timer, I only saw the warning message flashing. I was too focused on that hourglass 😅 - yeah the silhouette thing, I’ll go and check if I have it on. I don’t see the bosses “flashing” so it’s probably OFF. Into the darkness skill, yep. That one I don’t really like it but I see how good it can be for bossing, esp these kind. I’ll keybind it and try to use it while still trying to clear it 😮‍💨. Thanks so much TLS :)

Heyo glaciate! HUGE tips there wow okay. Saving this. The dips the b*tt is a good point, I’ll keep an eye out for that one cause those green flying skulls were pretty annoying to dodge. The strings are super annoying tbh, tried my best to avoid them, but knowing that hugging right wall is safe; definitely will burst from there :) The FMA is definitely something I need to practice, just like how Slime has its own timing with the puzzle game. Calling Dawn set pointless is wrong. People can go years without getting a zerk, and then they have to tap it without booming. Most pitched boss items have to be 22 stars because their replacements are so good and easy to get, Zerk being one of them. The only pitched you don't need to 22 is ET, TC ,and Eyepatch (if you don't run commerci). It's one of the reasons why people say Gollux is realistically BiS for accessories. Twilight marks drop pretty frequently in Hluwill, so getting spares and tapping one to 22 isnt very hard, and even at 22 stars it's only about a -5FD compared to a 22 Zerk. The Dawn set is also relevant if you ever split apart your Gollux set (if youre lucky enough to have at least 5-6 completed PB), as at that point the best pendant to replace Superior Pendant with is the Daybreak Pendant.

Not truly pointless, the 2 set is still used when you are 10 set because of the ring + daybreak.

​@@noorimz I don't think it's that bad. I'd much rather do 20mins of dungeons than to grind for multiple hours + dailies just to get the same amount. Sure grinding also gives xp and mesos, but its way more braindead. The real "fun" in a MMO comes from making gains and attempting new bosses as you get stronger, everything else I just view as a bonus. I don't care if additional content in a MMO is "boring" so long as it's efficient, like monster park for example. I find MP super boring, but it beats having to grind multiple hours on a new character every time. The point is that it gets me to the "fun" part quicker. The reason I prioritize efficiency is because of the way MMOs are designed. People never talk about it, but your mental is by far the most important resource, way more than mesos or frags or exp. Unlike your starforce, if your mental booms, you quit the game and won't come back. So if you feel overwhelmed with having to make 10 boss mules, leveling 4 different characters, or not having the time to do dailies everyday, you don't have to. I certainly don't.

Damn. That's a deep one and quite smart. I get what you mean, frankly it has been a bit tiring some weeks where doing 4-5 bossing mules and 2 "mains" becomes overwhelming. Spending that 20 mins on epic dungeon can save me some time by not having to do some dailies or weeklys as you mention. Thanks TLS :) appreciate the concern and pretty great advice for MMOs.
