Yessssssssss ❤❤❤❤❤❤ Beautiful black women❤❤❤❤
I know Jasmine Guy had a straight up ball on her back, she wore the hell out of that dress 🤤🤤🤤
Yeah, and she's singing the hell out of it, I love that song, I listened to it over and over again. Good job Tisha, keep up the good work.
I remember being 18 trying to learn this dance. I eventually learned it and danced to it all the time. I'm 29 now and watching this gives me so much joy. I love tisha and jasmine so much! They really inspire me.
This movie and a different world made me want to go College as a girl.
The color name is sorta grey but named iconic white
It was always Jasmine Guy for me❤
I'm so lucky to have been a young man in the 80's - and in NYC to boot. .. culture, life, people - were interesting. and dance and music was cool, unique and celebrated the times. God I had a ball.. And this number captures that essence.
Tisha still got it ! Jasmine I think today looks worse than a Guy
I also thought Tisha's dress was not as good. Why the sleeves
Got dayum Tisha and that mf hip twist @3:20 compared to the other ladies is on a WHOLE 'NOTHER LEVEL! Had a crush on her more than ever after that in my HS yrs when this movie came out ❤
This is fire 🔥 I so love this dance go miss Tisha Campbell
I know Tisha Campbell and Jasmin Guy. Who are the other two?
That, " Boy, you know I love you! " gave me Janet Jackson vibes. Also the darker toned sister is beautiful. Anyone know her name? Love this movie.
Gamma Rays walked so En Vogue can Fly...
Next to Madame Ri-Ri's, the Coronation is my favorite of scenes in School Daze. Absolutely loved this song which was huge on the R&B charts. And the choreography throughout this film by Otis Sallid is brilliant. I sang and danced to both musical numbers as a kid and recall the choreo like it was yesterday. I hope Spike Lee turns this into a musical and get renewed interest in this classic. 😌💙🖤✨
So many great stars came out of Spike Lee's joints. I've been a fan since "She's Gotta Have It". Spike is a true treasure, capturing America accurately. Often overlooked is his portrayal of ethnic white people. The Italian Americans and others in his movies have the accent, cadence and dress seen in their communities. In "Do The Right Thing", the dialogue between Danny Aiello's character and his sons on why he stays in the community is eye opening. Love his movies.
Ate down!!!!!!!!!!
❤Love this ❤️❤️❤️
4 beautiful black women with the voices of angels.
Love this performance, it’s iconic. Those harmonies are beautiful 😍
Do the boss a favor, ladies. Lol.😂
I remember the first time I saw this & not being able to take my eyes off Jasmine Guy. She was the hottest in this scene!!!
watch this with the sound down and listen to en vouge's waiting on you is fire!!
Jasmine Guy was my dream woman as a little boy!!

Fineeee ass womenn!!!
Who’s the choreographer, Debbie Allen? Or Fatima?!
The music give me all the feels. Also takes me to the movie Beat street when Rea Dawn Chong went to see her father a d he was working on music.
Who is dark skin short woman she was very beautiful!
2024?
Did this come before or after En Vogue? This would be a fire 🔥 girl group!
Angela (beyonce cuzin) said this scene was an inspiration to Matthew in the early origins of destiny’s child. Which is why Whn they weee kids on star search, their hair all reminded them of this movie scene ☺️
So much talent in one movie. ❤
This scene is the entire reason I decided I'm going to college!!! Facts..
Man this brings back so many good memories I swear. What happened to our young people. This was the norm when I was coming up. But all they wanna do now is twerk and talk about pussy and drugs. 😢
❤
One of my favorite scenes in a Spike Lee movie. School Daze was one of the few films to deal with colorism between light skin and dark skin black women. All the scenes in this movie touching on that subject were great.
This was En Vogue before the En Vogue!!
I always thought paula brown was the most poised and graceful out of all four fabulous women dancing. So smooth and chill with it. She owns a dance studio and company now!
You done took me back to my Sophomore year at Morgan State U!!
Look at Tisha Campbell & Jasmine Guy!!
This is like Pre-En Vogue although this is only Tisha on lead and not all four (4). I actually liked when En Vogue has one lead singer on a song as opposed to all of them singing lead. Jasmine is naturally a leader.
its interesting that the 2 lightest most mixed-race-looking women in this film went on to become the most famous isn't it? hmmmmmmmmmmm
Yes, we still have color problems. There are beautiful dark-skinned women, but they don't get the recognition. The vast majority of times when there's a black couple, the woman is always lighter than the man.
It’s still a bop #2024 ❤
