Hi there. I am using the supercruiser for windfoiling yes. But I found that for wingfoiling the fuselage has to be shorter, so I used the same front wing size but in the wave 1700 version which is a sup/wing product. Unfortunately this is not compatible with the windfoil supercruiser fuselage. It’s a shame that Starboard did not managed to get full compatibility between the two lines. But yes it is basically the same front wing just with a different fuselage. Hope it helped.

I think that the best is to have 2 fuselages. One shorter for wing, one longer for windsurf. The minimum wind for both sports is pretty similar.

Are you talking about two diferentes foil. Or just the más of the foil? And what about padel foil ? Is posible too or is necesary another diferent foil? Thanks.

@@juancarlosbernal7904 Hi! I think that you can use the same front and rear wings, the same mast perhaps but different fusalages - one longer for windfoil and one shorter for wingfoil. For SUPfoil I would strongly recommend another board. Check Starboard website.

Starboard sells a 102cm fuselage for windfoiling; is this length sufficient for winging, or is it necessary to choose a shorter fuselage due to specific issues?

Hello@@MichaVinstrol, yes it is unfortunate to have two sets, one for wind and the other for wing foil. But the new board does not have the tuttle anymore and it was replaced by a longer us box set of rails, so theoretically you can use the same foil and just adjust the position of it. Anyhow, I don't recommend any fuselage longer than 75/85 for wingfoiling. So perhaps you can get a foil set with a short fuselage (75 or 80 perhaps) and use it for both sports. That should work!

Hi Frane, altought this can be a fun choice, it is not the best to start windsurfing. This is a highly technical sail. Go check www.severnesails.com/ for entry level gear. The Synergy rig is a great choice.

I checked your suggestion but it's unavailable in my country, what I've found is mildly used Bic techno 283 (152l) with 6.5 square meter sail (70sqare foot). I'm 189cm(6.2ft) and 90kg(198lb). Do you think it would be a good choice for me as beginner?

Yes if your board has a windsurf option (that means a plug for the footmast). Starboard has a whole range of SUP boards with windsurf option.

The touring has more glide im subplaning conditions and while using it as paddleboard. The shorter models should be good for planning conditions. For you they shall be a good option.

Hi there. Sorry for the slow reply. I just missed your comment! I am happy to hear your feedback on the board. It is for sure not conceived as high wind board. But yes you can go full planning with it. It will feel a bit like it wants to take off, sure. But it will do. As for the sail, you can stretch it with no problem. Again it is not intended to be a high wind sail but it will do. I am curious to hear how it went for you.

Hi there. Sorry for the late reply. I think you definitely use your board for some windsup. As for the rig I recommend the compact one from starboard as it combines practicality with performance. The inflatable rig looks a bit suspicious to me. I suspect it won't be as good as starboard's compact one.

Hi Ben, thanks for your answer. Yes I will try to upload a video in open waters. The board goes pretty fast in choppy waters too! As for the stance, follow the straps position. If your board does not have footstraps, simply try to feel what is more natural for you and adjust accordingly.
