Test Ride a 2021 Harley at Natchez Trace Harley
I own a 2024 Road Glide 3. I had a 2008 Ultra Classic and I should have kept this bike. Do your homework before you buy this Gold Digging, trophy wife, three wheeled Frankenstein. There are so many thing I hate about this monstrosity. The infotainment system (Boombox GTS) sucks, and that statement is very generous. The ride on this thing, Sucks, no matter how you adjust it. You would be forgiven, if you thought you were riding a wooden wagon, when you hit a bump or small pothole. You cannot use Apple Car Play unless your mechanically inclined or willing to pay Harley Davidson's outrageous labor charges. If you want to use a helmet headset, really do you homework this option will be real expensive - Close to $1000.00 bucks. There is no WHIM module in this 3 wheeled garbage can and you cannot use a headset without a WHIM module. There is so much more but in closing, I reiterate: Do your homework ask yourself what you want out of this trike. I have the front end and rims on the tri-glide but I probably should have gone that route. Finally F-ing Harley Davidson puts a 114 engine on a 1200 lbs trike. On a regular Road Glide you can have a 117 engine that has more horse power and more torque. Harley puts this on a 2 wheel motorcycle that weighs 400 lbs less than the Road Glide 3. Again there is a lot more about this thing that I despise, but unless you have owned one your probably not going to know what to ask.
Beautiful
I like the rally red color on the cvo, I'd like it better chromed out to the max. Chrome rims, motor, exhaust solid mounted chrome risers and bars .
Harley and it's CEO don't share my values, and worse, they won't shut up about it either...I wouldn't ride a free one, nor would I ever drink a Bud Light...They've made their choices, and so have I. They're just another global entity slapping together Chinese parts and , relying on American nationalism and patriotism, charging a mint for them. They're just one big con job.
Nice 👍
Bought a used 96 Sportster in 1998. Im still riding it. Have replaced the stator once. It’s low mileage at 40k. It sat for a long time 😂. But it runs well, can’t see paying the high price for a new HD. I’m closing in on 80 now and only ride about 3500 miles a year maybe. 😀
Needs the newer fairing and independent rear end
ILL TAKE IT 😊
i traded a brand new street bob for a 20 road glide, i got taken for a ride in a bad way, i ended up finding out i bought a rental bike that had almost NO service history...my fault, but i trusted my dealer to be transparent...i hate to dime them out so i wont, but i will say they're located in central Cali...TWO dealers i KNOW first hand do this...STAY AWAY FROM HD DEALERS U DONT ALREADY HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP WITH!!
The dealership I work at has gotten big into the auction used bike scene this year because it is going to keep us open and running. We do our level best to check each machine out thoroughly and replace what is broken or fixed what can be. Of course we don’t know the history of these bikes but I can promise you not every private seller out there is honest about the condition of their bike.
Am i going to be able to fix and tune this bike with only hand tools or is this more of that digitized garbage?
I diy most of my bikes that are made up till 1998 HD and pre 1980 British, I’ve had over 400 bikes most purchased damaged that I’ve repaired to sell, most of this only needed paint and the odd tin, out of all of them I’ve only bought 6 used from dealerships that supposedly had a hands on check like 100 points or whatever that came with a ticked sheet, one has loose battery terminals, one BMW S1000RR had loose head bearings and two Harley’s had loose head bearings and yes all were ticked as being checked with a serviced remark at the bottom so all of that blah about being safer buying from a dealer is bs.
for me, it's about freedom, enjoying god's beauty and scenery. It's as close to flying as you can get on the ground.
You should read Neil Peart's travel books, especially ghost rider
Great video
I ride because it makes men feel good. Never had a bad day/ride on my bike...I smile every time I'm on it...
Harleys are beautiful machines but with realistic prices of 25-45k out the door its astonishing working class guys can afford them. This is the rise of the used market. And for utility an auction bike is great ifit hasnt been wrecked, isnt corroded, and was well built and designed in the first place which most modern Harleys are. It vastly undercuts new bike sales which is actually the subtext of this video
Watch out for the (Flood Bikes). Ones that have been under water in floods. They're out there like crazy.
Great point Boss moisture and motorcycles dont go together
All my bikes bought from private owners... Do your homework people...
Therapy.

Soul to Soul is Why I Ride👍👍Just Not H-D Can’t Afford Them Anymore👎$$$$👎
The goal of the dealer to sell new bikes at all costs period
Depends on the dealer. I've been to some that absolutely will NOT lower prices of 5-10 year stock that they haven't sold. When they eliminated the Inventory tax, this crap happens.
Schön is anders. 😢
Used bikes.... Id NEVER buy used from any dealership.... Any used bike I purchase is private party sale. I want to see who was the PO, get history and get records with receipts. Not too mention you're gonna pay full retail and full taxes buying used from a dealer. Dealers arent going "through" the bike pre sale, theyre kicking it out with as little $$ into it as possible. Buy low and sell high is every dealer motto.
Bingo!
Never buy a used Harley from a Harley dealership. I just bought a 23 Softail Standard with 180 miles on it and 17 months of warranty left for 9500 bucks from a multi brand powersports dealer that was traded in on a side by side.
Get a dog, your just rambling.....Folks don't worry about what people think your motorcycle is worth. I ignore people that ask what my bikes are worth, there not for sale ,I ride them. Take care of your stuff and ride it forever.
I would buy from a dealer if it was a fair deal but I like older bikes you don't see there they won't work on them for you so kinda stuck with private sale.
Time for congress to pass legislation : If you manufactured & sell it, you must work on it, no matter the year & or model.Period.
I bought my first 2005 Harley Electra from private sale in 2013 with low miles 24,000 original owner took care of bike he had purchased a new bike , when I bought my road king I went to Harley dealer bc the price of private sales were same as the dealer
I've bought 2 of my Harleys used from my local dealer. When private wants as much as the dealer, the dealer wins. Like your dealer, they recondition them, fix and or replace items and will make right any problem they may have missed.
There are some great Dealerships out there
It depends on that dealer. Most will just clean it up & shove it out.
I agree the market is way down but the amount of bikes for sale has to be at an all time high? I have bought from a aftermarket bike dealer a 17 street glide it was cheap but it needed reconditioned and I knew that when I bought it. I thought it will be my last bike but I like the new ones and now retired with some riding time. Buying new or close to new from a good dealer is the best way to go, it’s a good feeling to know you don’t have to worry just throw a leg over and go down the road.
Inventory levels are high for sure, especially during winter. We expect to see that begin to change in Feb depending on weather patterns
I see people buying bikes that are cheaper than what I paid for my bike but I bought my bike new so I know what I got It’s the same in the used car and truck business Personally I’d rather pay a little more because I know it’s new and I know how I take care of my bike just as my truck
I’ve had way better results buying from a person than a dealer I will never ever buy from a dealer again all the add ons that they charge you I can rebuild it twice and they never fixed a one problem and it stayed there two months they told me best thing I could do is come get it they just don’t have time to get to it that’s how they’re warranty works for you
I have heard stories such as this before from our customers in dealing with other dealerships. Don't give up on dealerships, there are some really good ones that stand behind their bikes, such as us and don't charge fees for reconditioning.
Buyer beware.
That's why they're called Is steeler crux
I would be interested in what you have to say but the sound is so bad I had to click off.
Agree
Fighting to understand him😢
I will get this fixed on the next one, my apologies
I had the same thing and then listened to the pod cast on my phone speaker as opposed the radio it’s blue toothed to.
This has been the way it is done in the automobile business and has been for years. Wash it, if it runs sort of ok, jam it on the lot, deal with issues later, lie like hell about everything.
Yep. Everything is at your own risk. Even new stuff. The days of honest quality products & companies that stand behind their work is over.
Thinking about buying a 24 SG or RG just wondering since the new 25 come out and I noticed no change except a new color and paint job, how much do you think I’ll save by buying a 24 model
I can't really put a number on that on TH-cam, however, feel free to give me a call and I will be happy to talk to you about that. 256-383-5814 - Dwayne
I recently bought a 24 road glide new. Financed 26k bought it November 17th and currently have 1300 miles on it. Check engine light came on yesterday so I dropped it off. I considered buying used but everyone wanted close to new prices for them. Yes I understand you have a tb exhaust with screaming eagle intake yadi yadi yada BUT lord knows how you rode it or treated it. So I bought new. Don’t regret it one bit. I broke it in and did the first service at 1k miles. For me it was I either pay top dollar for a clapped out bike or pay top dollar for the newest tech available and build it myself.
Like Struddle, I chose new vs rolling the dice used. You really have to know what you’re getting in to. I got a 24 Whiskey Fire RG chrome trim in Oct. $2000 model increase, $1350 for blk trim, and $2900 for Whiskey Firestorm paint. So $6250 for a tiny bit of extra flake and ghost flames. I got a 3yr extended warranty. My dealer is offering discounts on 24s. Now is the time to strike. I love mine. Had the 1k service before Winter.

I love it
I’m an old fart I used to hav my favorites because of sales parts service Ect. Here n Ky there r 6 yes 6 HD dealerships & there all diff & n my opinion I don’t trust any of them anymore for one reason or another & I realize I’m going to get a lot a nasty comments for saying this but that’s what us old farts get a lot of these days✌️🥃
Will, first off, great looking bike, I just don't understand why HD is continue using the old 2023 parts and dash on this model, I ride the 2024 RG WF, which I traded my Goldwing for, my wife rides a GW trike, she likes the RG-3 but, I just can't justify having a 2025 model bike with old parts, I guess I have to wait for 2026 and see what HD bring to the table, thks for sharing..
The Tri Glide has had the same wheels since 09.
Still 117. I’ll stick with the 24
Great looking RG3. I’m 78 years old been riding motorcycles since the 1970s, now I’m looking at trikes and Harley Davidson RG3 looks like the perfect model for me, hopefully I’ll get a 2024 next month. Thanks
Give us a call! We will be more than happy to assist you with getting on an RG3!
Nothing new except the paint.
Weird they haven't put the new fairing and 117 yet
I hate H D, Suzuki any day of the week.
🔥
HARDLY ABLESON 😂 😅 😂
Happy New Year, change your CEO and I'll come on in.
I think that color looks way better when it's paired with the chrome.
You can keep those 2024 and 2025 POS's and tell that CEO to suck it.
How much is that, $50k?
Well it's at Natchez trace harley. So probably so lol. Looking for a harley hit up Lawless Harely Scott City MO.
Gross Reminds me of the Vaquero 1700
