Evansville and Vanderburgh county uses all Sentry sirens, and, with very few exceptions, all 20V2T's. Owensboro uses all Whelens in town, not sure about the rest of Daviess county.

This reminds me of Hurricane Jouaquin which became the strongest hurricane of non-tropical origin in hustory, became a strong cat 4 with 155 MPH winds, nearly became a cat 5. It's not out of the realm of possibilty that a non-tropical system become tropical and develop into a category 5 hurricane just like Jouaquin did in 2015.

Do a better job of mixing the sound! The tornado sirens should never cover up the weather radio alerts. The tornado sirens should sound more distant and lower as if they were being heard thru walls. The radio voice should be louder so that you can hear what is being said. The siren is TOO LOUD and EXTREMELY ANNOYING!

Yeah they changed what they say when it's radar indicated. They say "This is a radar indicated threat" This also would affect parts of my family. In Saint Louis.

Boy, do they need to bring back this format of alerts. Better voice, gives you the chance to actually hear what is being issued, good pronunciation and you can understand it way better than the female voice.
