Awesome tank!! Love the big euphyllia and duncan. Nice GMKS and warpaint acan ecinata as well just to name a few!
Yo those scrambled eggs looking good 🔥 🔥 🔥
Looking great 👌🙌👏
Did a sumpless/HOB 50 breeder for 9 1/2 yrs and finally upgraded to a sumped larger reef 2 1/2 yrs ago when I just got tired of spills from the HOB skimmer and overgrown corals. Rescaped /fragged/transferred everything over to new tank over a month and haven’t had any regrets since. So much easier with sump to hold all the gear that we need for stability in one glass box. Tank looks great!
Clean looking tank you’re definitely doing something right keep up the good work
I believe in free will… But others have free will too including doctors. In this broken world that means suffering. But we can choose to live through the suffering and forgive and inspire others as they see that. Jesus WAs perfect and He suffered and offered it up for us. We can join our suffering to His as Paul says in his letters. This inspires our children to be brave and courageous and loving when they struggle. I’m soo sorry this happened to you. Great video. Thank you again. I have osteopenia and a fx sesamoid for 9 months. I’m being pressured to surgery I don’t want. I’m just going to get a better Dr. God bless. Sending up a prayer for you! If you’re ever near St Joan of Arc in Powell… stop in. It’s a good place to pray. 🤍
Thank you. Really.
You're most welcome

Hey man when am i suppose to use all for reef ? I now have around 20 corals and all seem to be doing great should i leave it alone or will adding some all for reef help them grow ?
The hobby needs reefs like your self , to show that tech is not always required , I have been in the hobby for many years and yes this side as seen big advances across the board some good and some not so good , yes this way requires a bit more effort , but the stock should more hardy, I run a no sump system with softy only , and have lost very few , I get fed up with been told you must have this and that to run a sustainable tank , so thankyou for up-date a , UK viewer
Omg thank you for that. I have this since 2 years and a half, and finally I am getting surgery in 2 days. I'm in so much pain and developped hallux valgus with it. I will be operated with regional anesthesia from what I understand and and I also noticed a clicking sound. Thank you for posting your journey.
Them hammer corals dont look happy
How much do I dose all for Reef in a 50 gallon fish tank ???
I stopped using it because it was too hard for me to figure that out. Shortly after this video I went back to 2part
Very nice! I think your rockwork does make it look bigger! I have that same vertical frag rack and I am wondering if yours covered in a red like fiml algae? I idint have any alage except this wierd dense hedge looking algae and after I put those in and another rack it filled with algae. My racks that have coralline don't have it unless I just cant see it!
Yes and in my case it seems to be very Dino like
@@nosumpreefing8287 Wowsie! I have lost corals from these racks. Mostly zoas. It covers the plugs even though I try to blow if off every few days! I even got some blennies but they dosnt seem interested! THis sucks so bad because I jumped the gun and spent over 3k on high end zoas and now most are dead!! It took a while to figure this out but the ones I put on this and another acrylic ones mostly died and ones on rocks are just fine! Some appear to have melted though so not sure if the racks are responsible for all the deaths! This rack in particular hangs off back glass and flow could have been an issue early on. As soon as my leds are up and running over frag tank I am tranfering them but I am scared I am going to transfer what ever it is with them! peroxide helps for a while but comes back and was scared to dip my super highend ones like my Godbeasts and my big Birds, Gmks, and northern light ext.. all dead!! I have tried chemiclean and it just laughs at it! Most my highend mushrooms either disappeared or got stung out. Cany win! Took 2 months 2 cycle my frag tank too even using products and now my lights are giving me problems! frag tank and 36 gallon! UGGHHH Troubles wont end! lol Your tank is gorgeous! I am envious!
What a long post. Wowsie!!
First find out from a professional what that is. It might be beneficial you never know
There is a valve I don’t remember the name I got it hooked up on my pump it will stop any water movement when you loose electricity.
Nice looking reef
Thanks 👍
What’s the bright orange encrusting coral next to your clove polyps??? It’s so nice
That is a jack o lantern lepto
Get some Pusiostoma (Engina) Mendicaria snails for those verminted snails ;-)
Can’t believe your putting LPs at same height as acros and they are both getting correct par. Cause acto needs 300 and LPs need 100-150
I moved them a bit to account for this, but it’s not a very deep tank
@@nosumpreefing8287 can i ask what par you are running? asking because i would love to get more acro was just scared to hurt my lps
No simpin! *I mean* no sumpin!
The only thing, pH will not be too high and growth a little more slow then with non organic
I dose all for reef and kalkwasser. I just went slightly under the needed level to stabilize my tank on all for reef then make up for rest of alk and calcium with kalk. It keeps my ph up.
@@zachary_smith1 it probably works but here in Europe we don't like kalkwasser to much because of clogging of pumps.. And it can give old tang syndrome after a few years
Looking good from our point of view 👏💯🔥🙌
Thank you Brian for sharing your recovery. I was diagnoosed with sesamoidithis 2y ago, and now I was recommended the sesamoidectomy surgery. I am really scared with the possible post surgery issues, but the pain is impacting my daily activities... My recent diagnose (Aug2022) was fibular sesmoiditis due osteonecrosis.
Thank you for posting this series. There is so little online about the variability in recovery. I have a necrotic tibial sesamoid I'm getting surgery for this summer. Your videos have helped me get a realistic view of what recovery could look like in an atypical case like mine. I also really appreciate your reflections. Thank you so much.
You’re welcome :)
your trident will work as it should as long as you use the calibration solution after changing part ABC.
You were correct!
Nice looking setup bro! Everything for the most part looks great!
chromis don’t usually care about salinity swings. if they do, then other fishes would. chromis just don’t generally like or shoal unless you have an area of sps they can commune in. i went from 7 to 1 in 1.5 years later. these guys are very aggressive eaters and will kill each other off
Thanks for the video, If the computer is plugged in, what 12v line are you using? Do you have any other suggestions for a 12v line other than a computer? Thanks
Looks awesome. I love all for reef.
Tank looks great ! I just switched to powder all for reef last week. 12 ml per day in 75 gal system
What are you using for filtration?
Fluval 100 HOB with mechanical media, Chemipure Blue. Classic 1000HOB skimmer, and. UV sterilizer. Tons of flow.
@@nosumpreefing8287 where do your nitrate levels stay around ? That is a very simple set up i love it
Just a little heads up. Don't let the name of the product fool you. AFR will be fine for a while until your corals start consuming more of the alk, cal & mag than what is being dosed with the AFR. When this happens, you simply can't add more AFR to compensate because the rest of the elements will be unbalanced. You will need to supplement Balling components A,B, or C as needed to maintain stability. I learned this lesson the hard way when my alkalinity bottomed out and I didn't have any alkalinity on hand to supplement the imbalance. I lost some expensive corals when that happened. I continued to use the product but with a much better understanding of how to use it. I test all parameters once a week, but I check Temp, Salinity, pH, Alkalinity daily. Last week I saw my alkalinity start to drop by a half point. I simply added a couple milliliters to my daily dose on my bubble magus auto doser and kept a close eye on my alkalinity. I am just about through this alkalinity swing and everything is going well. Like it never happened.
Yeah in other words, test your damn tank while dosing it
That is wrong the product works well even when you have big colonnies I had a 1400l Tank with big colonnies. Just test your alk regularly and not disbalance will happens as everything is balanced in the product. And a 0,5kh swing will harm not coral. Your problem was elsewhere or you not test enough regularly. Kh should be tested daily or every two days
It says on their website directions that it’s formulated in the correct dosages needed but not all corals consume at the same levels and you will occasionally need to dose whatever your corals are consuming. I mean it’s kinda common sense that you still have to test and dose accordingly. All for reef just handles the bulk. And the trace minerals. There are dozens of trace minerals you would have to dose otherwise.
Looks great! You are going to love AFR. I've been dosing it for well over a year now in my mix reef tank. It was probably the best thing I started dosing (besides Kalk at night). Enjoy, and Reef on! The corals will grow like gangbusters on the stuff! Watch the fireworks cloves. They love the stuff!
Hey why do you dose the kalk too?
@@nosumpreefing8287kalk is usually dosed at night to elevate ph
@@nosumpreefing8287sometimes with AFR one of the levels might drop or raise visa versa, for instance On a night with lights off you may notice a drop in alk, which will cause a spike in calcium, the AFR isn’t going to bring the numbers back to the right levels it’s used to keep them stable at what they are, by this I mean you should really make sure all your parameters are acceptable and the level your happy with before you start dosing AFR which should in theory then keep the levels stable. However if alk drops on a night and then you carry on dosing AFR all your doing is keeping them stable at that mark there now at does that make sense? The Kalkwasser is basically only going to effect alk and calcium so if he dosses kalk on a night my guess is that his alk is dropping a bit so he’s using the kalk to bring that level back up before resuming his AFR to keep his levels steady
clean setup man i love all of reef it makes things way easier
chromis also need to eat like 3x a day
I auto feed five times a day
Nice looking tank man! Love to see everything so healthy!!

What happened to your yellow tang to be marked like that??
Carbon filtration with too much dust gave him HLLE
Video got way cut off sadly.
Really good looking tank 👌💯✌️

How do you get the case off?! I removed the knobs and took off the nuts and washers. The remover the bracket that holds the gooseneck on that has the two screws that hold the top of the kessil on. I unsnapped the top and pulled up and I can get it part of the way, but I can't get the case fully off. It seems to be fastness near the cordHow do you get the case off?! Good deal and a TH-cam fix that actually works. I had 5 (on a 200g) that all died pretty close together just past the two-year point and I tossed them in a box and replaced them with Radion G5's several years ago. Just putting together, a small 32g second tank and really did not want to spend the money for a light. Thing about mine is they were just dead and no flash or anything. Hotwired an old computer power supply and bang worked the first time.
These F#cking lights are too expensive not to even give two years !!! Going all chinese cheap one.
Two 9 volt batteries in series works too
