hi, i've been subscribed for a little while now (central texas is where i grew up, and it's nice to see some exploration of it), and here you are taking a look around where i used to live. just some context for why all the rooves are torn up: around may 2024, a tornado rolled through the area and ripped up a lot of poorly-secured surfaces, and much of these older/abandoned structures tend to be that way. you can see around 0:11 that the roofing nails and remains of roofing are still there

3751 Farm Rd. Off Southton Rd. Was the Southwestern Insane Asylum. Was at the end of this is Rd. Now the Krier Boys Juvenile was built before you reach it and they've also fenced it all in so there is no trespassing. We grew up a mile from there. Mr grampa worked maintenance. Became the spooky hang haunted hang out in the 80s-90s back away from the road in the pitch dark. I was actually taken in there by the man who molested me often. It's chilling, cold, and just heavy evil haunting suffocating energy that you can feel.

If you type in Ridge plow on Google maps it'll take you to this place as that's the road it's next to. I don't believe it's legal to enter though it's surprised by barbed wire fences and is owned by the police department and used for training.
