happy new years (as of writing this) everyone! five years ago i first released hitori no shizuka's voicebank and officially marks her "birthday", but for the past few years i've only really celebrated via silly twitch vtuber streams and not much else. i thought for a five year anniversary of an utau i actually care about (sorry to my previous ones) i should really do something special.
spiral is a song that i composed in about eight hours and it's technically the first entirely original composition of mine in a few years outside of school assignments! i sincerely hope you enjoy it.
thank you all very much for everything so far. even if the lyrics are super dark, i promise i'm okay enough ^-^ i appreciate all of you! keep up the energy and support trick deck yayaya@

I like the way that this can be interpreted as either the mother or the fetus pov "i was the one told to leave" as either she is forced to give birth and dies due to this or is forced to abort since she could not carry the pregnancy to full term. Even to persons who are willing to go thru an abortion (as i did myself) it's really hard since your unborn child feels like a part of you, i'm glad that you made such an amazing cover and i hope the original gets found.
