inspired wholly by @VirtualRiot's "death by amen" video, looked super fun to try myself (and decided to reference a classic of his hahaha) all sound is generated ONLY BY CHOPPING THE BREAK, there is no warping or editing in any other way (apart from velocity). i used some compression on the way out for a little more dynamic control. was super fun to do :) original video: th-cam.com/video/XpnNVW...

Okay so how do you know how much to divide the MIDI notes in order to get pitches? Do you have to look at a chart of notes to frequencies in order to get the exact right amount of hertz?
