I haven't played in a while, but the Martyr Skulls are new! Also, thanks for the new lore! It goes to show that sometimes, people turning to Chaos is beyond their own control. Whoever sent the Moebian 6th to Nox without proper equipment or really, who ever just sent them there either screwed up or intentionally corrupted them! Maybe a administratum error? Maybe a strategic blunder? Or maybe something more nefarious? We may never know

I think it's the place where warp energy feeds the deamons on Atoma. Maybe a warp rift.

At 0:32 it appears there appears to be a new cultist. Tho it could possibly be a reskin of the dreg shotgunner he looks too different from what is currently known to be the case.

If this could become a warp portal it could mean we can finally get an encounter with the death guard, maybe in the mission we actually fail to stop the cultists from opening a warp portal which would have the DG come through and more daemons, the rejects would have to flee the district to the extract

I know a lot of people are asking for Plague Marines or a Great Unclean One, but personally I don't see it happening. The vast majority of Rejects aren't armed with weapons capable of hurting ordinary Astartes or Greater Demons. It's worth remembering that Beasts of Nurgle are technically lesser demons. I think we might get Rot Flies and Plauge Bearers. Rot Flies are said to be born when Beasts of Nurgle are killed by those who it wanted to "play" with, planting a seed of resentment which festers until they are reborn from a vile cocoon inside the Garden of Nurgle. At the very least, more demonic enemies such as Nurglings (a big request from many) or even something more obscure, like Sludge-Grubs. A demonic Herald of Nurgle would work as well.

My theory lore wise. Rinda Karnak is the prophet of abolition, the ritual going on in the center of the carnival is to revive her brother Rodin Karnak, who has ascended to demon hood and is coming back as a Plague Barer. It has been proven in the lore that mortals who serve the dark gods well are blessed with demonhood. Rinda and Rodin served well, they helped organize the plague outbreak, they manufactured the stims that infested the planet, and they organized the infection of the Moebian 21st on their arrival. That is more then enough to earn Nurgles Favor and his death probably solidified his place as a lesser demon. I also think, that the Moebian sixth and wolfer are going to learn that the Cult of Admonition organized the 6ths deployment to the plague planet that lead to their downfall. Improper gear, broken rebreathers, and lack of supplies. The cult needed a legion to do the heavy fighting for them back hiveside, and thus orchestrated a no win situation for the 6th to fall victim to, and thus turn to Chaos and Serve Nurgle.

Imagine if after a long and difficult mission the Portal opens and instead of a demon IT'S JUST A FU*KING SKAVEN FATSHARK WAS TROLLING US ALL ALONG IT WAS ALWAYS JUST VERMINTIDE 3

Biron Wolfer is probably not pleased that Rinda is siding with the Cult. He and the sixth likely believe the latter are a means to an end for the uprising. If you recall his speech in the traitor curse cinematic , he’s there to liberate the hive/domain from the imperium’s draconian rule, not let it be run by Nurgle himself.

Plague Marines and/or Demons (likely Rotflies) as Monstrous encounters are my guess. This going to be Fun. Hell, add Nurglings and Toads as regular encounters too.

I did hear dialogue from Sefani while in the Meat Grinder that there was something dark deep inside the hive and said along the lines of 'Keep it away from Sefani'

My favorite part of the game is how, no matter how much you accomplish for the Inquisition, your superiors never stop detesting you, and will randomly summon you just to insult you to your face.

I meaaaan not entirely bad advice? A pair of psykers with good builds and knives/dueling swords or a zealot can melt a beast in like 15-20 seconds with melee. But watching my vraks weak spot magdump half heath it in like 2.5 seconds really is just too satisfying.

4:35 Small correction: The Omnissiah and Machine God are two different entities. Machine God is the god (believed to be a warp entity from collective belief or the Void Dragon buried in Mars) and the Omnissiah is basically the prophet of the Machine God That aside, fun video, gonna watch some more (and keep hoping that ObeseTuna adds a Mechanicus style class, I want to beep and boop until all the heretics are squashed)

I think in most cases heralds are like plaguebearers. this is old 2e fluff so it might be out of date but how they explained it is when someone suffers from the rot, it's a spiritual disease feeding on their being. mind body and soul. the longer the mortal takes to die, the longer the incubation period of the demon and the stronger it is. it's literally being grown in the garden if i remember the imagery out of their soul. Herald might be just flowery language, she could be becoming a demon lord or just a big champion. also in the OG fluff, all those who died of any disease belonged to Nurgle for a year and a day so he could raise any body he wanted so long as the magic was right. this was particularly horrifying because in the short story they gave introduce him, a wife prays to Nurgle to kill her husband and he just raises him from the dead 3 days later for ironic punishment purposes.

Rinda is my favourite character so to see her character development of being the herald of admonition is really sick, and to see her wanting to avenge her brother. I saw mention of a transformation and honestly I hope they don’t butcher her character design

Concept artist that created the design of the cult here. Quick explanation: The idea is that they are originaly a faction of exiled and excomunicated mutants, that somehow, sometime, end up falling into chaos.

As is usually the case in the Imperium, it is an empire of contradictions. It is true that to a large extent, heresy and failing in service to the empire is the route to doom all of humanity to ultimate defeat. However, a great many instances where people become heretics - or even outright chaos servants - is a result of unforced errors and horrific abuses within the imperium by both it's systems, and people within them. Unforced error is the point to be emphasized - it is possible for the empire to be less awful AND have less heresy at the same time, the reason it's hard to accomplish this is because everything is ran by bastards who are worried about the bastard above them and hostile forces abound outside waiting for humanity to falter for even a moment while those in the imperium are almost literally unable to accept any level of criticism or insubordinance for the understandable fear that it is influence of chaos or xenos.

I figured the 6th had been sent up shit-creek without a paddle into the loving embrace of Papa Nurgy but literally dropping the entire regiment on to a "death world" (VERY OBVIOUSLY A NURGLISH PLAGUE WORLD) with no protective equipment... Actually *begging* to turn them into lost and damned of the plaguefather

I will give the 6th credit where due where all the guys not wearing proper carapace armor are technically cultists from the hive and not members of the 6th themselves. And that when they aren't being ambushed by 4 crackheads with a big rock (and some really high-end equipment) and get the jump on you instead, they really hurt.
