a professional would not use that net HAHA.. especially get a brand new one.. (that fabric harms fish is why)
I’ve never, ever seen a stream quite like that. Fantastic drone footage.
Thanks for your comment, I have lived in BC for a year, those rivers are monsters!!! Great fishing!
I used to fish a lot of brooks/rivers with my slightly smaller super light fly rod the same way. It’s such a rewarding and relaxing way to fish.
This is such remarkable trout habitat, I’m wondering if there are any native trout in Australia?
is there also rainbow and brook trout in the creek?

Brilliant footage, brilliant fishing. Well done.
Many thanks!
tough!!!!! I was vegan for 7 years with my partner. Thankfully we both saw common sense and went back to animal products together. Good luck Frank
I was so curious about where you were and I found it with some super CSI style stuff. Nice work love finding great spots that make you feel like the only person on earth!
nice work josh. make sure you get up there and enjoy the beauty! and let me know how you go!!!!👊
Bude to ještě trvat... Já vím... Ale dočkáme se... A až to přijde, já budu takhle muškařit a vy budete vyprávět ty svoje příběhy... Ale už to nebude vůbec nikoho zajímat...
I always come back to this video
your always welcome, hope to do some more videos soon
Wow watching this master is so soothing and just makes you with. Oh if that were just me.😊❤
masterclass for small and bigger streams
I wanna see one work the local creeks where I live lol. Massive over growth and tree fall, little to no space to bow and arrow cast let alone roll cast and trout that will spook 30' out if you're being as quiet as possible. Spooked a pocket yesterday over 30' out by simply peeking through some vegetation. Rough conditions in every aspect. Even delicate presentations of dries can spook em. Landed a #14 stimmy bottom of a riffle and NOPE. Entire pool darted. Gotta put in WORK for those 6" trout 😂
what river are you fishing?
Beautiful really amazing video
Thanks Jonathan, what did you like about the video, the scenics or the training? and out of interest have you watched my other video th-cam.com/video/jYcgq0JVvhM/w-d-xo.html
Nice touch with the cray .
Doesn't seem much of an expert to me.
Shaw looks like a nice creek
Way further NE bro. 😊
Beautiful. What length leader do you recommend for small streams like this?
Yes. Me lol. Come with me for a day
A true professional willing to tell his story and share his expertise. 🧐🌲👍
Very nicely done young man! I simply have to admire your skill and love for the sport. I would be particularly interested in learning where your foldable landing net can be purchased so I may effectively do away with the one I’ve had since college and hangs off the back of my vest, which as you astutely pointed out gets caught up in the bushes. 🙂
Hello, great fishing. what is the length of your leaders and tippet? for small streams and what other brands of rods would you recommend for small stream fishing? Thank you
Interesting that he's not wading.
i’ve never fly fished and have no delusions i would catch anything but trees but man does he make it look so easy.
It is "that easy" ...dummy
I just started fly fishing, what’s the pixie dust doing exactly? Drying and puffing back up your flies?
Fishing Brooks and streams is so much fun 😄
nice job sir
fkin skillers
I was validated when he dried off his fly with his arm by making a muscle 😉🙌
Been fishing my entire life of 50+ years, built high end fly rods for 5 years and fly fishing is a complete joke.
Lil ones are fun still, great show sir. Very very cool serene water
My goal is to be as good of a fisher as u are .
What exactly is a professional fly fisherman?
No.
This guy :/ It's not like this to cleanup
I want to know why fly fishermen all dress alike. You are FISHING...it ain't some outdoor fashion show. Guys Muskie and Walleye fishing from a boat or shore don't all wear the same colors and styles. What's up with that ??
Awesome
"professional" lol
whats he shaking in the little bottle?
No.
Hey Scottie, great presentation, thanks. Really lovely to watch. Are you still heading up to Broome for the winters? If you're around Vic late next March(2023) I'd love to take advantage of your guiding. Will contact you via the Home Page. Cheers, Mark.
Thank you sharing such great experience. Great photography too.
I was already to say New Zealand!
much less work to use worms lol
I usually catch my limit each time I'm out.
Wow, I didn’t know that there are Trouts in Australia as well. I mean, it’s no dangerous, so it doesn’t fit so well 😄
This dude is like the Bob ross of fly fishing
Cant wait to land a good sized trout on my fly rod
