I work 3rd Shift and hardly ever have a chance to perform live, let alone play any paying gigs. TH-cam is a way for me to virtually perform for people from the comfort of my humble apartment (and even bathroom)! I did play at open mics for a while there, but even those are few and far between these days. Music is a great way to communicate and share meaning and emotion. It's an outlet for me and, hopefully, someone may get something out of it by listening to it as well. I tend to do more obscure songs that fewer people have heard and I like the challenge of doing something that one might think unusual to perform on an acoustic guitar solo. It seems that I don't have what it takes to get a lot of views. Many of my views are just someone watching for 10 seconds. But sometimes, people can take watching the whole song and that's when I feel that I've done something useful. Whether it's me or someone else, keep watching musicians who speak to you and fire your soul.
