Yes thank you so much for this very important truth!
Thanks for watching and for the kind words!
DMT is poison, it leads to Qannon brain rot.
Seems like the more paranoid and scared you are, the the more control the inner entities have.. and the more i try to fight them off by being positive with love, the more they ramp up theit attacks
Not all of our thoughts are our own.
This is pathetic come on.. who needs a sponsor to stop smoking weed 😂 probably end up getting high together like 😂
If only we were as enlightened as you. Nevertheless, since we aren’t, some people like us need this kind of help.
@StartsWithMeChannel didn't mean to be offensive but it's more of a personal battle nobody else can influence you or need to influence you or you have failed already ! Stay busy stay happy and stay social. Be loved and feel loved. Weed is a plant.. why should you feel bad for wanting or needing it. You are not addicted to the weed or smoking it. Your addiction lies with what you do whilst smoking it. It becomes a habit or a second nature. You find things you love and do them things. I can get lost in doing something I'm passionate about and when I'm done that's when I have a smoke because I've done everything I needed and wanted. Governments will let you buy and consume unlimited amounts of alcohol which has adverse effects to your body life and lifespan. Nobody dies from overdosing on weed. The world needs to lighten up. It's a damn plant nothing more !!
Came across this channel from finding out how to quit on Google. Great video! I been smoking for 5 years already and I’m ready to get back on track for life. Your videos are very helpful!
Hey, thank you for watching and for the encouraging words!! I'm glad you find them helpful. I wish you the best on your journey! Take it easy, peace
she also accused the central jewish council of cooperating with the nazis in order to ensure the relief of rich jews to the cost of ghetto jews
its made my life quite the struggle
I overall loved this, but it is my bad habit to comment on what I *didn't* like... Around 40 mins, you start talking about how it's all about becoming 'more conscious'. Hmm... I dunno. Atman, the 'true self', is consciousness. It can't be increased or improved. The subject-object-based finite mind can be conscious of *things*. It has limited capacity and can only be conscious of so many things. It can't become 'more conscious'; it can only become conscious of different things, partly based on its priorities at the time. I think it's good that minds are prioritising healing from trauma. 🙂
Thank you for your work its good to know that im not allone
🙏🙏
I'm only coming to tell you seek professional help you're the lamest human being on Earth incredibly boring complete snore Fest
How do you best manage anxiety? Did you find those practices helpful?
I believe the reason he “skips” over addressing being an addict is because addiction is a symptom, not the root cause. I think he was trying to emphasize that trauma, not addiction, is the true source of guilt.
Amen. It starts with and starts right now.
🙏🙏🙏
I really needed to hear this because no body works understand about bipolar depression I have
I’m so glad you found it helpful. 🙏🙏 thank you for watching
Would do anything to work with Gabor (worlds greatest psychiatrist and loving human being), but couldn’t allow public view as what I say could hurt my family. Is there any way to have a private session, regardless of cost?

Why don't voice ever say do good deeds?
what a wonderful question! I will ask Jesse and get back to you. From what I know, the voice does say good things, although its mostly negative thoughts. This is mostly because the negative thoughts are trying to stop us from doing the exact thing they tell us to do. This is a paradox for sure, in essence they are trying to protect us from bad things happening. The intention is good, the method is flawed.
Pain is a teacher
Indeed it is! Thx for watching and sharing your wisdom
How do you relate to your negative self talk? Any tips or tricks? Please share in the comments 🙏
Thank you. So true. ❤
Thx for watching 🙏🙏
Loved making this video! We should think about doing something else soon 😉
we should indeed!!
It depends on the strong will of a person. Some people can smoke 3 inhales of a joint, others 2 and others 4 inhales for the entire day, others do more than that
I don’t think it’s about will power. If you’re smoking everyday, then chances are it’s not good. If it’s for fun and not all the time … then awesome that’s what it’s for!
Do you have self-critical judgement as a result of struggling with ADHD? Have you found anything helpful?
Thank you for this.
thank you for watching and sharing your encouraging words!!
That I’m depressed without it not sure if it’s a lie tho 😢
thank you for watching and for your courageous honesty!! Might be true and a lie at the same time. Ie: it's your only coping tool, it helps a little yet...makes everything worse in the long run. So it helps and makes it worse at the same time. You might find this idea helpful. The weed isn't the problem, it's the solution. Your problem is the depression and the mood and what goes on inside your head. Once you find a better solution to that problem, you can let the weed go. If you want to stop, You can't do it alone, you need help. I wish you the best on your journey! thank you again for watching and sharing.
Spot on. Going to give it a try. See you in a month💛
Thanks for watching and best of luck to you!!
When I'm stressed, my meds are burned up n not working then I hear people laughing n take it personal..then I look at the people laughing and realize they aren't laughing at me...most of the time it's rare this happens, n now I have a prn for it ..I also have voices in my head. But not as loud cuz of my meds so I can manage life.
Thank you so much for your honest comment! It's really insightful and super helpful for people to hear this. Thank you so much, I admire your courage and honesty!
Im getting help tomorrow. Yesterday I went to the movies with my wife thinking it would drown out the voices, but it only made them louder than the movie and I had to leave 30 minutes into it. It was torture. It was the new Mufasa 3D movie and I was actually enjoying it, but the voices just took over the entire film.
Thank you for sharing! I wish you the best, and glad to hear you’re going to ask for help. Take it easy 🙏
Self righteous click bait. If you cared more about helping people than just getting views, you would've said something beneficial instead of implicitly shaming people.

Alright, I'll turn you off.
🙏Amazing !! This comment made my day!
Completely two different things If the cause of your mental health is biological then spirituality won't help much If psychological then yes
Hey, thanks for watching and for your insights! I think one perspective is that the spiritual can integrate with a biological approach. Unfortunately, aside from the pharmaceutical interventions for the difficult biological illnesses such as schizophrenia, we don't have much else for people in those situations. "Spiritual" practices can be very healing for anyone. These are deep and multi faceted aspects to all this that are difficult to discuss in the comment section. Thanks again! I appreciate your insights and attention.
Has spirituality brought you healing and well-being? Do you have experience with formulaic mental health treatment? Do you have a preference? Please share your experience
Some of us don't have an option. I have never had an experience that i would call spiritual, not even awe or wonder. Its not like i have not tried at 58 i have 40 years of spiritual exploration which netted me nothing. Although disappointing it has solidified the idea that spirituality does not exist on its own and it is only a way of looking at things rather then something unto itself.
Thank you for watching and for sharing your experience! I admire your commitment to seeking the experience and your honesty about the journey. I don't know if I understand exactly what you mean by "does not exist on its own". I think I agree with that. To me it is a realization that nothing exists on its own. That my selfish and self-centred thinking disconnects me from others and a peace of mind that reminds me of the reality of experience which is free from self-centredness. This doesn't mean I don't suffer and forget. It just means I know how to connect to myself and my understanding of "spiritual" and when I do that, I tend to experience ease and contentment. This is a deep conversation and difficult to have in the comment section. Thank you again for watching and sharing!!
He was not an architech of the Holocaust. He was a mere lieutenant colonel. He was the " make it happen" bureaucrat who didn't think beyond the challenges of moving hundreds of thousands of Jews to Auchwitz. He was a symbol of human indifference to the suffering of human beings. He really didn't give a shit about anyone except himself.
Love novak so much ❤❤❤
He’s a legend!! Thx for watching
Don't think race has not entered this situation white quarterback black linebacker instantly the linebacker is a dirty player. What was the time and distance of the play. The NFL should make a rule that when quarterback runs they should signal like a punt returner giving the defender time to pull up.
Thanks for watching and commenting, the video was about a totally different topic. Hope you found that part helpful. Not everything is about race.
One of the reasons I prefer and am grateful for another 12-step program that is not AA is because there is, in my opinion, an undue focus on “The Book” to such an extent that it has become a sort of scripture for many members. I don’t believe that’s how the author/s intended it, nor, for that matter, the authors of much of traditional religious scripture. My experience is that the received wisdom/oral tradition in the program also emphasizes reliance on an HP to have the defects removed as well, not just the immediate addiction. I’m not sure I heard that from this discussion. I generally enjoyed this discussion. Liked and subbed
Thank you so much for watching and subscribing!! I appreciate your insight and thank you for adding perspective and wisdom to our conversation. Not sure you want to share, but would love to know what other program you’re referring to. Take it easy, peace out 🙏🙏
@ I attend primarily NA
I assumed that might be the case. Thanks so much for your reply!! I haven’t read the NA book. I have been to a few of the meetings. I have read the MA book and it’s pretty good. I’m most familiar with the AA big book

Beautiful words and well said
I think youre getting caught up/tripped up in not understanding the thing that DtG often criticizes, which is how people in Lex's sphere tend to value repeating these banalities about the importance of considering all sides, and hold themselves very self-important for "being able to have these conversations," but then at the end of the day dont actually practice good thinking, epistemics, and hueristics, and wind up having a lot of misplaced respect for people like rfk or rogan or the "idw" and thereby encouraging their audience to do the same. They dont want to be conciliatory to, and they ultimately have no respect for, people (like lex) who are leading millions to think that having anti-vax or other conspiratorial nonsense views about science is somehow respectable or worthy of a platform.
I get the impression that you have not done much if any research on your subjects here before commenting on their video. Its not clear youre aware that they are both in the fields of cultural anthropology and cognitive psychology and know about epistemics and hueristics, i.e. why people believe what they believe and how to decipher what information is trustworthy. This means that when they are shitting on Lex for buddying up to Huberman, for example, theyre doing it from a lens of "this is all about social cache and not at all about advancing critical discourse as Lex claims he is doing." In other words, Lex presents himself as an open-minded "good discerner" when he is not, and neither are most of the people he says he respects. (Rfk, rogan, huberman.) While you criticize them for having a "holier than thou" approach and they are admittedly harshly critical and sarcastic, even venturing into hyperbole at times, it comes from their professional expertise in determining who and what should or should not be trusted, and their frustration with the fact that so many people with awful "discernment" are seen by large followings as great thinkers. Thats the fundamental concept of the podcast and while there are fair critiques to be made I dont think you can do that without a more obvious understanding of their specific expertise (i.e., why DtG deserve to be listened to on these topics.)
You guys from Canada? Is the mental health care socialized as well?
man i been stuck for a long time its time for me to wrap this shit up now smh
You need to ask for help you can’t do it alone. I wish you the best.
@@StartsWithMeChannel thank you brother! really need all the help i can get
@slimg67 🙏
What’s making me want to quit is how bad the dispensary weed is here in the New York area. Every batch I try stinks, 29% THC and I can’t even get a buzz. On the other hand my old connection still gets pretty good weed but it’s a hit and miss. When it’s a miss I wind up losing up to $100 on shit weed. I really want to stop buying weed now, I can’t deal with the let downs from bad weed at the dispensary and unreliable connections. I’m getting too old for this BS.
Thank you for this video 😊
Thank you for watching and for the encouraging words!
Stop smoking weed like its a cigarette😂😂
I'm not educated in mental health. I'm an engineer and used to be quite anxious at work. A particular source of anxiety used to be what people think of me. One thing that helped me was to express myself in a way that is similar to how I feel. E.g If I feel tired, I don't try to look good and energetic to my boss (balanced approach, I don't allow myself to fall asleep in the discussion). This counterintuitively seems to allow me to have better interactions with others at work. I suppose I also worked on the insecurity of how I am perceived, which I suspect is quite common in my industry. Is that what you mean by 'rationalising' the problem? Also, I take small walks throughout the day, which reduces anxiety also.
Hey @heat_seeker thank you so much for watching and sharing your experience and question. It sounds like you’ve found a great way to manage anxiety by aligning your outward expression with how you actually feel, which can really reduce internal tension. Accepting and showing up as yourself, rather than masking your emotions, likely contributes to the relaxed, genuine interactions you’re experiencing. It's difficult to answer such thoughtful questions in the comments, in reference to your "rationalizing" I think I am referring to trying to find the "root" of the anxiety or having to tell ourselves a story that makes sense of it. That thinking can get us into a trap rather than facing the worry like you described in your experience at work. I hope that helps. Or let me know if I missed your point/question.
@StartsWithMeChannel good response! Thank you for taking the time
