Hey man. So I'm a guitar/string player. Not sure if you play anything else however I wanted to ask if you had tips for learning drums? I have so much pent up anger and feel like drumming til my hands bleed sounds like a healthy alternative.
Also what's a good kit to start?
Honestly I would say just start and if you can get a teacher, it would speed up the process. For a kit I would just get one and you can always make it sound good with new heads etc. cymbals are more important in my opinion!! But starting out they don’t need to be good, you’ll just steadily upgrade.

Depends - if I know the song and the structure I’ll just be able to play it (like this song) but if it’s a song that I don’t know the structure of I’ll have to listen to it to learn that aspect
