Had -18F -27C the other day in the Erie Pa area. Left my F150 lightning outside to see if it cared. It didnt care. Pulled it in the garage and plugged it in before work. Have a departure time set in the truck for the cab to be 80 degrees and for the battery to be warm. It didnt add any charge to the battery over that time. All the energy went to warming things up. Only have garage charger set at 5KW. Yours may have charged on level 2 once it warmed everything up. Number of ice vehicles needed jump started at work that day. They probably just had worn out 12v batteries.

Your car, or any electronic ftm, doesn't care what the windchill is. Your electronics care what temperature it is that they are trying to work in. They do not care about "feel." They can't feel.

That's not what happens when it's cold. The car can charge fine that cold. The charger was just not working.

What are you talking about. The components don’t freeze inside an engine, people start them here in -30. I work on Volvos for a living stuff doesn’t just break overnight because it’s cold, especially if you’re in an area that’s cold all the time or at least half the year.

Level 2 chargers def need to put out WAYYYY more output. 6 kw is to weak for level 2

How did you get your dash to display the tachometer and speedometer flat? Normally the tack and the speedometer are tilted like an open door and you can’t really see them or what they’re reading.

I've had an ID4 for 2 years, and I really like the way it drives. It reminds me of the Porsche Cayenne that I used to drive. One little note: You should be able to open rear hatch with the key fob - but you have to hold the button down before it will open.

I have a 2019 leaf and love it. I would only be interested in a 2025 if I could get one of those $20.00/month leases that I see on YT. I will say I liked the first gen dashboard the best. My household has my 2019 leaf and a big pickup truck. I wouldn't mind finding even a first gen with a good battery, in great shape and cheap for doing errands instead of taking the truck it drinks too much.

change the manual trans fluid as recommended and rev match when you downshift and you will have no problems. if your in gear approaching slowing traffic i find its safer to be already in gear if for some reason you need to accelerate to avoid something

My guy, you are absolutely flying! 😂😂😂 I have noticed that neutral driving takes away control for me. Downshifting while using the brakes helps me stop quickly but when I use neutral, I have to basically floor the brake to stop 😂😂😂 Maybe I just need brakes

My Mazda3 already has 137K on the original clutch and I downshift along with using the brakes. Helps me stop quicker. At this point I literally don't care 😂😂😂😂
