Between April 29th to May 7th of 2024, my partner and I took our second trip to the enchanting country of Iceland. In this final episode, we explore some of the Highlands to the Golden Circle as we prepare to depart this magical island.

Did you see the Northern Lights? We were planning to go at start of September.
@@wasimreza we didn’t! It was too cloudy in the evenings to see them. Apparently September is the start of northern lights season because it gets dark enough at night, but the weather is so random. It could be a beautiful clear day, but cloudy and rainy at night and you can’t see them. Good luck though!

How Much Cost In Trip
I am really enjoying your adventure in Iceland! Beautiful selection of music that goes very well with the magical place! I'm going back in September and want to drive the Ring Road, but I've read that driving in the east fjords is scary, with lots of dangerous curves.... how was your experience?
The eastfjords were by far my favorite driving!! Around every turn feels like you’re taking a road trip through a fantasy movie! It’s gorgeous. But yeah some of the twists and turns can be a bit unnerving. My advice is take your time, really enjoy the scenery and pull off the road in the designated areas if you feel nervous! It’s worth it to take a little more time out there!

@@nehajain-dw9ck we actually went for a second time a couple weeks ago and went to snaefellsnes! Definitely a highlight. We stayed and the Grund guesthouse in Snæfellsnes this time and loved the location and views. As for other areas, dal sel guesthouse near selfoss was beautiful and charming, Carina guesthouse in Vik was so central and unique, and guesthouse stong in Mývatn was beautiful and had a great dinner and breakfast buffet! Honestly you can’t go wrong with Icelandic hospitality, at any price point!
