This is made with the lattepanda v1. Not perfect. But it does what is intended. It boots into pico 8 splore, automatically. the controller has to be a Windows controller. I can go wireless, but it needs adapters. Why am I not using raspberry pi this time? Pico 8 had an update. It will not run at 60fps anymore. It runs at 30. If I use a Windows based system like the lattepanda, I can have it run...

@@LSDPatrick-jb2od I was trying to change the channels direction, from game design to gaming. This channel is all over the place. Plus, I had no back up, game was on a hard drive that got lost. I might restart though.

Great job bro, you should try 1-2-3-2-4-3-2-1, then 2-3-4-3-1-3-2 as your finger order, hopefully that should help with keeping the melody fluid.

I have a lot to add. I’m not even halfway done. I want 10 levels, 10 bosses, and loads of new enemies. I have a few power ups. I want to add bombs, a force field, shooting enemies, new weapons, and small details. I did a small test on newgrounds. Got complaints that it was not running in browser. I am going to try with a downloadable version on itch.io. If it still won’t work, we have two options, abandon or reimagine the game, or change game engines.

@crimshikity9873 I already have an extra health power up, and a honey shot power up that does more damage. I am planing something like invincibility, and a floor force field power up. I am still trying to come up with more. If anyone has any suggestions, please let me know. I have another idea where all shots destroy enemies in a certain radius.
@@silenceisgoldengaming3209 uh what about the shot power up maybe breaks apart on impact into X amount of smaller projectile? also maybe element powerups? or since its honey shot maybe slow on hit? for the radius attack maybe after killing guy bombs drops/explodes? also maybe a run down city level with trash related/metal boss? im just throwing out ideas lol

I have imagination. Ppl who has survived from nuclear attack. They are hiding in their basements cuz of fallout and playing with this thing to kill some time. Pretty cool.
This... this is a work of art. The craftsmanship is far beyond my ability to reproduce. The cardboard case held together with duct tape, the controller mounted directly to the screen with hot glue, and the fact that the whole video was shot in a dingy basement on top of a rusty dryer... it's beautiful. Slight sarcasm aside, I actually am a really big fan of making cool stuff with what you've already got lying around. I genuinely have a lot of respect for this
