How does the Logitech Brio 4K measure up (vs Macbook HD cam)
How does the Logitech Brio 4K measure up against a Macbook Pro built-in HD FaceTime camera? Let's find out! This is my initial take after a quick video test. I bought this for $149.99 on sale, and overall think it was worth the purchase and a good upgrade for basic TH-cam vlog and recording purposes. The Logitech Brio 4K camera is capable of recording 4K if you have the proper capture program and USB-C cables. For this video, I did a side-by-side comparison of both cameras, to see how the Logitech Brio 4K measures up to the default Macbook pro camera.
I screen-recorded in QuickTime so the output is not 4K, but still useful to compare camera qualities.

This has got to be the gayest thing I’ve seen today so far. Don’t worry the day is still young.
We deal with similar shipping issues in film. When I worked on [job redacted due to NDA] we had to send specific camera gear from the US to Europe that we could not rent there. Every single item had to be on an ATA Carnet. It was 108 cases and it took almost a week to account for everything. Thousands of individual items. Also, if you’re shooting a scene in an active prison every single item must be documented coming in and out. That’s every cable, zoom pin for the lens, batteries, even the film itself, because everything might be fashioned into something that could hurt someone. Again, thousands upon thousands of items

@@bustedseamshahaha it’s ok! It’s still a pain and no one ever tells you that it can happen! I feel your pain, we don’t think about customs in school, and that would be a huge shock to design a sample, send out a color swatch without knowing the proper paperwork, then it gets fined or sent back and you miss a deadline!

When you are describing a cast, do you describe it In primary colors? Like would you say something casts red, blue, or yellow? Or is it more complex than that?
Good question! And sort of... We use Red, Green, Blue, Yellow. Think of your classic color wheel. Reds and Greens are across from each other, so we evaluate along the red-green spectrum. Then Yellows are across from Blues, so we evaluate along the yellow-blue spectrum. We use that framework regardless of whether we read color with the human eye (visually) or the fancy-sounding spectrophotometer (digitally).
