Why is the morgan fight the only one that doesn't suck? Is it because they finally had enough practice by that point in the show?

Highly skilled but highly arrogant. Just like her master. Also come off it bruv she shoulda lost a hand/forearm from Baylan, like Anakin against Dooku/Obi.

You literally have to speed it up to 125 to make any of these good. Why is every lightsaber duel so freaking slow nowadays? At least in the prequels they were fast, nonsensical but fast. What choreographer is watching these and thinking "Yeah they really nailed that one. Or at least speeding it up after filming it.

The power scaling here is absolute bull Why can this Padawan last so long when I just watched him go toe to toe with a master and he just murdered 15 Jedi knights

put it on 1.25 speed to fix the sluggishness and it looks alright

The highlight of the show was watching all of the annoying characters get taken out.

This might’ve had a chance if it consisted of only saber battles. Everything else about it was atrocious.

I like how Qimir was always cheating and could win against a normal jedi but when he fought a real master he was struggling. It shows that you can be a dark force user, or a light one, but if you're just confident in tricks and raw strength you're going to lose against true skill.

Me and the boys have faster and more intense lightsaber fights with sticks

The majority of the choreography sucked... but it sucked stealthily.. like you need to slow down the scenes to really see how much it sucks.. just like with Ahsoka.. Thats what you get for not hiring the guy who made the choreography for Episode 3.

It's crazy to think that this show had 10 lightsaber fights all in one season and there was only 8 episodes. Not to mention the show was made 2 years after it was announced and it was released 15 months after filming. Must have been a pretty short window of time for them to Coreograph each of those fights, I get people have their complaints about them and they certainly don't hold up to the better prequel fights (Although not all the prequel duels are gems some have their own issues) but considering this is just a TV show and not a feature movie I do really appreciate what we got and the effort everyone put into it. Now a question for anyone reading this, would we prefer what we got or would we prefer if they reduced the number of fights to like 5 or 6 and spent more time coreographing them into better fights?

You know what I want one day? A nice tensiony quiet quiet quick duel. No music. Brutal in it’s simplicity.

Whoever did the lightsaber fights here needs to be involved with every star wars project moving forward without question

Sol vs the stranger looks like glow sticks. Appreciate they want the real colours of the neopixels to affect the surroundings but it looks too fake and needs a better edit

Definitely an improvement over usual Disney baseball form. But still not as graceful and well measured as Nick Gillards Duels. Step in the right direction though kudos

The show did not, does not, deserve the torrent of hate. I'm not criticizing individuals for hating it, what I'm criticizing is the collective hive-mind of it, i.e. the review bombing before the show was even halfway finished. The anger anytime someone expresses anything positive about the show, or God forbid its story, is disgusting. If you don't like it, why the hell do you waste your time trashing it then? That just gives the show more attention. Same with toxic people; they thrive off your reactions. It goes doubly for a show that is done, that isn't being significantly pushed anymore. Let the people who want to enjoy it, enjoy it in peace. Don't accuse us of being snowflakes when you're the ones who get so triggered by our supposed fragility. P.S. I can understand the hate toward The Last Jedi, that being a mainline movie and the movies being the bedrock of the franchise. But a literal sideshow that wasn't even getting pushed that hard by Disney in the first place? And people decide to spend time dunking on that? At least spend your time trashing stuff that's actually harmful to the world.

Say what you will about how half the Series is very bad also the other half of this series is good but you gotta admit that Lightsaber Combat of Sith Lord Qimir vs Jedi Knights🔵 vs Jedi Sentinels🟡 Jedi Consulars🟢 is Incredible 🔴. We not only see multiple Jedi Sentinels with Yellow Lightsabers but we seen that Mirialan Jedi Sentinel Vernestra Rwoh with a half Purple Lightwhip half Purple Lightsaber.🟣 It proves that Anakin is the only Jedi Member to use a lightwhip like in that Clone Wars episode where that Zygerian queen died by Darth Tyranus then Anakin battled Darth Tyranus with a Zygerian Lightwhip. But more importantly Darth Sidious never fought that many Jedi members before the only group of Jedi Knights plus Jedi Consulars he fought more than 2 is four Jedi Members. Qimir fought 8 Jedi Warriors. He fought bad ass on that planet. That has inspired more new reqruits to be Darksiders to fight hard as Sith Lords. But unfortunately now that Star Wars the Acolyte is canceled Google says the producers will likely focus on developing new "Star Wars" projects within the Lucasfilm pipeline, potentially exploring different time periods or characters within the established "Star Wars" universe, while also potentially re-purposing elements of "The Acolyte" story into other projects if deemed suitable.

all these fights get boring after a couple of seconds, there are star war cinematics that have more emotion that these (no disrespect) it seem to me they tried to emulate the ambience of old samurai films but they miss the point, i trully enjoy the character of ashoka but the choreography of these fights truly lacks, cheers

To the people who hated it but loved the lightsaber fights, you are now us older fans from 25 years ago who hated phantom menace but loved the lightsaber fight.
