@@persistency- maybe, maybe not. some of the Sony ports release quicker (such as God of war ragnarok only 2 years after) but then things like Spiderman/Ghost of Tsushima being 4 years after. Imma hope for a 2025 release

I love em all but my favorite is 0 because you can feel the weight and impact of the swinging especially when you are going fast but i like switching between them too. You dont have to stick with 1 for the rest of your life lol just play with all of them. 1 or 10 is the fastest 0 feels the best and can give you crazy speed also

If you want to “feel” like spidey i would say 0 assist but u need to master it even when u have mastered it you will still hit the ground sometime and wont be able to replicate what i did in the video which was not 0 assist. I usually switch between 0,1,10 you can check out my 0 swing assist vids too if you want.

@@persistency- Well, to put it simply, I am a bit of a physics nerd 😅 The first game wasn't entirely physics accurate, but thats okay! I really enjoyed swinging in it (and I am sure I will enjoy swinging in the second game when it comes to PC). However, in the second game there are a lot of things that just don't make sense to me, such as somehow spinning around in a circle causes you to gain momentum from nowhere. Not to mention the speed at which Spider-man travels in the second game! It looks pretty fun, and I respect that it's not easy to maintain high speeds at all times! I also respect that the map is bigger now, so traversal needed to be faster, but personally I much prefer the swing speed from the original (maybe just a tiny bit faster would be perfect). But the worst thing (for me) is the web-wings and air dashes. Air dashes for the same reasons as before. However, the web wings? I like their premise, but I think they are executed poorly. They give way too much momentum, especially with the wind tunnels. Additionally, they are too easy! You can just hop into a wind tunnel, travel across the map, use the fans to boost back into the air- I don't like how they can essentially be a replacement for swinging. I feel like if they were just a gliding mechanic to keep momentum during swinging, and there were no wind tunnels or boost fans, they would be great. But overall I think they detract from the swinging experience. (Which is one of the extra reasons I like your video because you do a lot of swinging! I have seen a lot of videos where half the video is web wings!) But tbh, it looks fun as hell and I am sure I will enjoy it when I finally get to play it!

@@alextimmins8426 i like physics alot too. I think the thing with the swinging around a pole gives you momentum is that we are supposed to believe that spidey is constantly putting force because a normal corner tether he uses his momentum and a little bit of force to propel himself in a given direction. And since he is spinning around it kind of like how planets do with the sun the resultant force stays towards the pole he is swinging around and he just adds that little extra force at the end of each orbit. And i think this swinging speed is absolutely amazing but maybe i just prefer more fast swinging rather than slow because well a guy who can lift a 500 ton crane should be able to move frickin fast lol.
