I think we are over it. MAGA/Republicans seem like they’re the ones intent of going around everywhere bit-chin and mad because we are not kissing the ring. Just because we accept it doesn’t mean we aren’t going to push back on extreme policies and agendas. The Native Americans that were here when the whites came over were not the original people to live here. Historical and fossil records show that the descendents of the Indians came over from Europe and wiped out the indigenous tribes of people living here when they got here. They "stole" their land and claimed it for themselves. They just got a taste of their own medicine when the whites arrived. I'm sure the tribes that THEY wiped out when THEY came here weren't to happy either. They need to look at their own people's past before condemning others.

I think that if you, as a corporation or business, want to not have different people working or coming into your place, then you need to put a sign outside that states that these people need not to come in or apply for work. But don't complain if you have pickets outside and your business loses money.

Its unfortunate that racial equity gets lumped in with LGBTQ/DEI initiatives and gets shut down as well. I'm not surprised given the LGBTQ the over the top outlandish demands. Its the pushback anyone could've anticipated. But why kill racial equity?

Some of those Native Americans were wonderful, inviting, generous peoples who believed in sharing the land... Most were not. We all feel bad for the innocent victims in wartime. The entire world is filled with histories of conquests. There is no known inhabited land that was not brutally conquered at one time. There was no known inhabited land in America that was unfamiliar to brutality and conquest before the pilgrims showed up. How far back do we want to go? No. A lot of companies are doing this, including the one I work at. It's because Trump took office. Most companies bend in the direction of whichever political party is in control, while that political party is in control. Also, Walmart donated money to Trump's campaign. And then the released something today saying that Trump puts his tariffs in place, "then they'll just have to" raise prices.

Such an unfair verdict those people should not get that much money. They didn't lose anywhere near that amount of money from the defamation which this is stupid.

DEI and all the racist stuff have been getting old for a while now. Disney figured it out this summer when they released Deadpool. Ford figured it out when they started losing money due to hiring people based on race, sex, and bedroom activities. Hell, even Mark Cuban figured it out when he publicly claimed he was hiring based on race, religion, creed, and sex, and the feds, former, and current employees went after him for it.

From my understanding, Elon Musk moved space x and X to Texas. He was pressured to push DEI initiatives and hire illegal immigrants or he would get sued by the Biden Administration. Elon’s beef was that Lockheed Martin and Northrop Grumman didn’t have to do any DEI initiatives so why does Space X have to?? I think what is happening is that there isn’t pressure to push DEI initiatives anymore. I’m sure a lot of corporate businesses are relieved that TRUMP will be back and they won’t have to push DEI anymore. Nobody is getting sued for not hiring a specific community anymore.

I think the main reason is these policies don’t make money and in many cases they cost money. Big companies started getting rid of all the DEI nonsense a couple months before the election. A big part of that was black rock was requiring any company that were investing with them to do a bunch of this DEI stuff and they removed that requirement which is what lead to the companies starting to dropping that stuff. With that said, I think once they all saw the election results they realized people dont like that stuff which was more reason to get rid of it.
