Following a long-term commitment (1996-2023) to tackling neglected tropical diseases in Taraba State, the Foundation, in partnership with Mission to Save the Helpless (MITOSATH), is advancing an ongoing project. The Initiative aims to confirm and document the elimination of Onchocerciasis and Lymphatic Filariasis as public health concerns in Taraba State, adhering to WHO guidelines for post-treatment surveillance. The project activities will also work closely with the National Onchocerciasis Elimination Committee and the Taraba State Ministry of Health to generate valid and reliable evidence on the elimination of these NTDS in Taraba State.
