มุมมอง 18K5 ปีที่แล้ว
Outline below. Our run of the zero hour mission to get Outbreak Perfected. There were a lot of suicide runs at the end there sorry about that! Loadout: Curated Threat Level, Hard Light, and 21% Delirium. Kill adds with lots of shields in order to drop the barricades. After running through rooms of adds you'll have to follow a maze with lots of jumping just go down the path I follow. There are a...
Top 5 EverQuest Classes - EverQuest
มุมมอง 74K7 ปีที่แล้ว
I wanted to make a list highlighting my favorite classes to play in EverQuest. This is my personal list so feel free to share your own favorites and why. Thanks for watching!
LOVEit!
Very cool showcase, and a relaxing watch.
Lol that brought back some memories. Especially spotting all the places I died.
Monk>rog dps.
If I had to choose a top 5 for me it would probably be: 5. Beastlord 4. Druid 3. Paladin 2. Shadow knight 1. Cleric
5: Bard anything until Guktan is available 4: Enchanter Guktan or Dark Elf 2nd 3: Warrior Guktan or Dark Elf 2nd 2: Cleric Dark Elf 1: Cleric Guktan
6th would be a Wizard for sure Guktan or Dark Elf XD
1.Ogre Shaman 2.Ogre Warrior 3. Troll SK 4.Gnome Necro , Dark Elf Necro 5. Erudite MAG Runner ups Iskar Beast lord Human Bard Races has to do with starts after AAs it doesn't matter much except Trolls, Iskar - HP regen , Ogre - No Frontal stun
My main was always wizard, so I have an irrationally emotional attachment to that class. :) That said, I also two-boxed an SK and Shaman combo which worked out pretty damn well. They could get a lot done between them.
Ew, live. Come to P99 where the game is still a challenge!
I was a troll beast lord. It was awesome
Why bother with modern eq when you can play classic p1999
This list is awful, doesn't include a single cornerstone class
They shrunk sand giants from 20 yrs ago it seems. Damn.
Bard, Shammy, Necro and Enchanter. Loved the utility of those classes that were welcome in any party but also let you do crazy things and try fun challenges solo when nothing else was going on. Like who cares if it's effective to do it solo or not, it's fun lol. That's also why no other MMO ever clicked with me where you have zero utility to be creative and everything boils down to "is your dps high enough to burn X before it kills you?" lol
Hello, from a fellow wizard on E'ci
My type top-five have been shaman, shadow night, monk, warrior, necromancer. And the best race of all is ogre followed by Iksar.
I agree with paladin number one. They are great soloing, excellent pvp, and lots of utility.
The most nerfed classes are Druid and Necromancer.
Lol 20* years after I started playing the beta, and Rangers still suck lol. I don’t care. I loved my ranger. Was one of the first rangers to get epics. Happy memories.
I grew up a shaman.
The aggro thing for pally vs warrior was the reverse in classic. Pally originally had many more aggro abilities than Warrior. I would say they still do in ways by being able to cast spells.
Enchanter, Shaman, Cleric, Ranger, Rogue
Sk or monk sk.s start out slow but by level 100 they become God's
Glad M to hear that, just got mine to 65 today and so far I'm not Mary impressed
@@kindredspiritzz66 at 100 you get an aoe life tap. More mobs bigger the taps. It's pretty fun
@@panteraowns2515 my life tap at 65 is like 25% health with a reuse rate of over an hour so I'm glad it gets better at some point. I'm using my 115 shammy to power level him but it's still slow going, probably cause I don't know how to PL very good
@@kindredspiritzz66 you have other spell life taps as well
Make sure you have spell taps up also. And I highly recommend sk epic it's best in game imo and is op forever . 5 min cool down 80% life tap with each hit with a practically never miss mod. And you share it with group
Most powerful solo: 1) Necro 2) Mage 3) Druid 4) SK 5) Bard
I thought pally was the worst?
Mage/Necro for solo or group.
I played a Necro solely from 1999-2014. Never felt the other classes could compare. I could solo to 105. I can escape trouble with FD, I could rez, mez, kite and do massive damage while i sat and watched the mob die. DMF anyone?
Yup, same bro.
Necro's were insanely OP in EQOA as well, i think one of the main devs had a soft spot for the undead idk... i was a salty Mage lol, i started off Delf Necro but switched to a Gnome Mage later on. But man did we have some amazing pet models. Oh and our 49 epic as Mages was hands down the best in the game idc what anyone says lol.
@@EQOAnostalgia you are right, not sure if it was McQuaid but there was one who loved the necro. Necros did, however, get nerfed badly for a bit but they made a comeback :)
You want to start EQ without soo many difficulties soloing and joining groups ? Enchanter Ranger Druid Bard 4 most overpowered classes. Then necro for soloing and few duo or group, depending on zones. But try to solo with a magician after lvl 45 without stuff and enchanter buffs lol. Just try to get decent solo exp ... oom after each fight and one add you die.
1: Enchanter 2: Druid 3: Necro 4: Wizard 5: Bard
I 16 box , paying 4 Asians to level mel up ...
Warrior = most difficult epic, also, when released, wasnt even the best weapon for a warrior......
No tank class could hold agro like a paladin. They were also quite able as patch healers and buffers. Having a decent Resurrection spell was also a huge bonus. Main drawback was that paladin damage is a sad joke unless you were fighting undead. While paladin was my main toon throughout EQ, it was F.A.R. from my favorite. My top 5 fun-to-play EQ classes are: (1) Druid (2) Enchanter (3) Necromancer (4) Beastlord (5) Shadow Knight
In EQ2, I know having a bard in my raid group was always a good raid day. I cast faster, regen power faster, move faster, it's like steroids 😁
I could do things with my shammy that seemed impossible.
nice video. I"m just starting in eq and I'm gravitating to Magician because of the crazy ability to solo everything. Melee classes just seem too weak, but I'm also poor and new. Still feels like I'm auto attacking for 15 when my mage can cast a spell and hit for 200. Magic is simply OP
Thanks for the video, always interesting to see other people's favs. Mine are 1) Enchanter 2) Necro 3) Mage 4) Ranger 5) Cleric
Hell yeah necromancer
I think you rate classes based on how many powerful compositions they can be a part of. You also rate for either group content, raid content, or solo content. I'm rating for group content. I'm a classic EQ1 player. That makes Enchanter to me by and far #1. It is a straight up OP broken class. Enchanter is literally godmode. A naked enchanter can destroy content 5 levels above it with ease and carry naked underleveled parties. This means that the most powerful compositions all revolve around Enchanter. They enable the Enchanter to be stronger and work around the Enchanter's mechanics. The next strongest class, in my opinion, would be Cleric. It is part of aoe groups and top tier enchanter groups. Cleric is a very good #2. Not only that but it can also, like the Enchanter, mix in with classic parties. Enchanter + Cleric via charm/complete heal is the most devastating duo, though Enchanter does have to rely on Spirit of Wolf potions to pull. Furthermore, clerics can act as pullers if there is no Enchanter in a classic group. #3 for me would be Shaman. They have the strongest slow, sow, and -mr. They go extremely well in practically any party for their slow alone. With an Enchanter mixed in, their -mr is deadly. Yes, magician also has -mr, but they are missing slow and sow, making them less versatile. #4, and this may be an odd choice, would be Ranger. Yes, ranger gate and all of that. That being said, most groups don't actually NEED or even utilize a traditional tank. What they need is a melee class with high DPS that also adds utility. They need something to break mezzes while contributing to DPS and contributing to utility. Ranger has sow + snare. They are highly useful in dungeons with fast enemies like sola and are very powerful in any group with an Enchanter. They also get rid of the need for a shaman, allowing use of Magician instead. I would probably say #5 is Ogre Shadow Knight. They are the best traditional group tank. If a group does need a tank, they want a shadow knight. Aka if you can't build your group around Enchanter, you want to build it around a Shadow Knight = ). My ultimate composition is Enchanter, Cleric, Magician, and Ranger. Last two slots could honestly be two more Enchanters and I definitely prioritize finding 2 more Enchanters over any other class. That'd be a group of 5 DPS and 1 healer. Bonkers ;P. Also, the Ranger can just heal itself from the initial hits of engaging with mobs with a little support from Cleric when needed. Necromancer is definitely absolutely #1 for solo content, but they are meh for group content since their dots are useless and are only good for raid content once velious hits. Obviously in raids Enchanter is the absolute worst ; P. All they really do is buff. Most stuff in raid zones can't be charmed and mez'd, so once they buff they're more or less done =D. I'll also say Enchanter is the most fun to play in groups. You definitely won't be bored. It's not a class you can netflix while grinding on.
Classes I have played are Ranger, Cleric, Paladin, Rogue, Druid, Bard and Warrior and by far my favorite is Warrior. Loved to 2 box with with Warrior/Bard combo.
Nice unique list! My list consist of (Druid, monk, bard, rogue, and ranger)
one nice thing about pallys is you can pull and tank witch is a really fun and active way to play. liked seeing your pally i don't play anymore but i posted a video of my pally so id remember him
Lol wow this is a list of my least favorite 5 classes.
Bards are cool, but the rest is meh.
He only got it good with bard and rogue (but rogue as soon as you group or raid).
Sometimes when I'm feeling cheeky or I'm going after something big I will also box my paladin but the fact is usually I only run one box and if I run more than one box and people know why but you know you can't exp afk but I do a hit and run you know if I do so if I do box a bunch at once I do it for something big real fast so a box like 10 guys at one time and then after that mobs down they all log
I've been on an EQ break I might go back I was playing p99 yesterday
I have a paladin.. he was max level but they recently raised the level cap this last December but I did buy the expansion of what the friends and family for like $250 or whatever
That's the difference I'd rather have a monk and an enchanter played by actual players than box my bard but if I don't have the option then I use my bard
I do keep my bard boxed but I like Enchanter Monk combo better in my group
5 best classes... SK, Cleric, Wizard, Enchanter, Monk...
You should have labeled your video, "My Personal Opinion." Of the Classes, from my experience, the best are 1, Rangers, 2, Druids, 3, Rogues, 4, Magicians, and 5, Wizards. It's almost as if we have different tastes, but maybe not that different as three of our favorites are the same.
He did
You like some basic classes lol. Try these five if you want to do some truly incredible things, with a high skill gap: 5-Shaman, 4-Shadow Knight , 3-Monk, 2-Enchanter , 1-Necro
