0:11 That G7 there hurt my soul, buddy. That chord really, really don't belong. There must be B flat in the melody, not B natural. Try this chord instead (from bottom to top E string, numbers are frets): 3-2-3-3-X-X (G7#9).

When Chuck Wayne wrote and recorded it in 1948 it was called Sonny and the tonic chord was a Cma7 not a Cmmaj7. Miles Davis it stole it from Wayne and renamed it Solar.
