The testosterone is mounting as we head into breeding season. The Big Boys tend to act out and become more aggressive. They’ll soon be big, black sticky-faced, slobbering, growling goons. At least they’re not as stinky as the milking goat bucks. They’re smelly but not stinky.

Finley arrived early this morning. Finley is Barley’s first kid. She is trying to figure out this ‘motherhood’ thing. She’s still bewildered over the birth. She looks at Finley as if she says “Really?! I made that!?” But I can tell that she likes him. She’s not too sure what to do. She went out with the herd while he’s sleeping.

Our five day old bottle babies; Zayden, Ziva and Zelda are getting to play while we were bringing in the containers from the car. They needed to let off some steam after behaving themselves so beautifully on the ride to and from the Fredericton Farmers' Market Saturday.
