Sonia I know this interview was a while back but I do feel sorry for Matt with having to leave ub40ft Ali astro and Mickey can you ask the question to Matt as in why now in 2022 and astro has passed away is he now starting a crowd funding page because he was told by his doctor that because he has under lying health issues he couldn't take the COVID jab he has now wanting people to donate to the crowd funding page and now saying he was forced out of the band after 11yrs especially to wait until astro has passed away how can astro speak up for himselve is he doing it purely to raise awareness of his condition or is he going to try suing Ali and Mickey virtue one last thing has he forgotten Ali and astro sang with him on his own music astro being on his song happy so why now Matt can you answer that question youve said in your interview with Sonia that while being backing vocals for ub40 ft Ali astro and Mickey they never stopped you working and writing for other people I feel sorry for you having health problems I really do but if you feel that you were forced out I can't get my head round the fact you e waited so long to do this and the fact everyone was in the pandemic together

I loved his music so much. Very important period of my life. His band Satchel played a small club while on tour where my gf worked. She said it brought her to tears.

This breaks my heart, such a good guy. I hate to ask this, but...Shawn said he was mostly couch surfing through England. Was that at all apparent at the time?

Nice to see Matt on here! I played a session with him, Karl Brazil and a couple of other session guys at Linford Manor in Milton Keynes, way back in the late 90's on a track called Manpower - fantastic voice and a lovely guy!
Thanks Tony! It was funny because Matt mentioned Karl during the interview, and then a few weeks later, I went to the Roundhouse with Ryan, my husband to listen to Nick Mason talk about drums....and there was Karl Brazil too! Both lovely guys :)
