I tried to install the belt before watching this video, was scratching my head, I think it would take a genius to figure it out by themselves. I should have been more careful to see how the belt came off, but now it was too late. Watched this video and immediately knew what to do. Got the belt installed quick. Thank you sir !!!

Here is a written out form of the instructions. 1. DO NOT start the car or push the start button to turn the ignition on. Leave everything off. 2. Push the gas pedal to the floor and leave it there throughout the procedure (until step 7.) 3. Push the brake pedal down 6 times and hold it down for 5 seconds on the 6th time. 4. Release the brake pedal. 5. push the start button once to turn on the ignition. Gas pedal is STILL down. 6. Repeat step 3. After at least 5 seconds, release the brake pedal. 7. Release gas pedal, turn off ignition. Start the car and check to see if the oil light is gone.

I've tried other methods on other videos. This one works.

The controls are touchy, but you nailed the sequence so I just had to be patient! It's a CLICK+HOLD on the arrow, followed by a CLICK+HOLD on the black button. The tricky part (seen in the video) is that the screen shifts before you get to needed ASSYST option. I copy/pasted the URL into my C300 contact notes so I can find it again in 10K miles!!!

Thank you for video but this procedure does not work on my 2021 c300 basic. I looked at several videos on how to reset the Service B notice and nothing works. I think Mercedes releases so many software versions and updates that it's impossible to stay up with.

I cut my pinky up so bad getting all the pieces out. I jut put all the pieces together in a puzzle until I had it all. Then sent it had to go back in to change the seal 🦭

Is not working for me anyone help?
