It's amazing when a musician can do side projects. The dandy's amazing but completely different animal. I love dark techno vibe. I would never heard about pia I read the dandy's writeup on Spotify and luck got me the connection. Music is everything to me. Not songs the whole album the way the artist sees it. Concept albums have bigger meanings to me

This band deserves to get their flowers.. it's 2023, they need to be recognized. They released 3 albums in a row between 1998, 2001 and 2005 that I consider to be near-masterpieces (Deserter's Songs, All is Dream and one of the greatest sleeper LPs of all time, The Secret Migration).. Their influence in indie rock circles is undeniable.
