Yo great video! So well done and I appreciate that you showed examples and explained in plain, simple terms what each setting does. I have been messing with these settings a lot and my understanding of what some of them did, was wrong apparently. I have it set so it feels pretty good when driving offroad/drifting, but at lower speeds, and with lifted vehicles, the wheel feels floaty and vague, kinda like there is no ffb whatsoever, between the 11:00 and 1:00 position on the wheel. This is especially true in lifted cross country vehicles. It basically feels like there is little to no ffb in the wheel. Like you're steering on a cloud. I will definitely use this new understanding to attempt to dial in some better settings and hopefully make each different type of vehicle/terrain more uniform in terms of its feel. Thanks!!

This had been working for me, even though I had to do it after every nvidia driver update, but it doesn't seem to work anymore. I don't understand why this monitor offers 16:9 1440p but not 21:9 1440p. Thinking about switching to a 42" LG OLED or one of the new 32" 4K OLEDs. I love ultrawide but sometimes the hoops to jump through to get it working are annoying.

Oh, and.... Do you mostly Drift, Race, Drag, Offroad, Rally with these settings? I'll admit I mostly jump into Horizon 5 to drift around the open world. So maybe this is the reason for the difference in our settings. But I will give your settings a try if they feel better when I'm drifting.

Same issue. But I have amd vega 56, acc runs smoothly at 4k with 75fps while forza on medium settings with all “auto” rides near ~45fps. When there are big tracks and rain fps drops more and stays around 30-35fps. Awful with latest update.. I can’t stream with such issues.

I have a 4070 and an i5 13600k and 10 seconds after I launch the game the fans on my graphics card start going insanely fast and I get no display Also whenever it does work, I only get 40 fps.

Yep. Its definately just the pc version. I just reduced the settings which unfortately made it look worse but run smooth. Im hoping they will sort it because ive seen it on the new xbox at my bro in laws and it looks and runs stunning so im guessing it is optimised for the xbox and PC needs to catch up. 😢

I been having these problems too I was gonna load up the game to post some first impressions on my channel but the game looks dog water compared with the performance. I have no where near a potato pc, I got a rtx 3050, 32 gigs ddr4 3600 mhz, and i5 12400f but yet I got like 10 frames when I try to be on high settings and rtx on when FH5 I can do that and get well over 100 fps 1080p with those settings. DLSS is def broken and the game is not optimized like FH5 is. Made me quit the game after 30 mins on it. Rather boot back up my ps5 and get on GT7

I was extremely dissapointed. The game looks terribly flat, frame drops make it impossible to hit the apex, not to mention just how BAD the steering is

Getting 14fps with my 3050ti on pretty well optimized settings, I hope they fix this soon, I run fh5 on all high pretty well

In my game when I’m driving it’s constantly rolling through the telemetry and whenever I press down on the D pad to exit it It just starts rolling through it again My controller is only 3 months old and doesn’t do this on other games so I’m putting it down to a bug in Forza

Do you know if there are any drawbacks to doing this? Like reduced bit depth or chroma subsampling? And does it still run at 240Hz? I'm assuming you're using DisplayPort?

I had similar issue and two crashes, you need to edit graphics settings and restart each time. Game needs to be launched before starting other memory heavy programs as it takes priority on resources. Also, use 60FPS(Vsync) in settings to eliminate camera stuttering.

This game is trash im having game breaking problems game crashes as I cross the finish line and I can't even do the featured multi-player it does the same thing and my fps goes from 60 to 30 and stutters
