Great cover, nicely done all those years ago. But, I wonder why damned was replaced by “darned” by this fresh-faced, barely HS aged neophyte yet, he had no issue singing that “a woman sure can be a friend of mine”? I was 15 when this song was released. I understood the implications of that particular line. Oh well…still, a great job.
