He was a beast! Mean as a snake! Good guy though. I think I was in his second flight. Been a while! He wasn't a blue rope yet. Seemed like a natural at marching, cadence, military bearing. He never broke character but I'm sure he had a good sense of humor.

My son is Senior MasterSGT. 8 more days he will have 20 years in. Sept. 18, 2001 I drove him to the airport in Syracuse NY. He told me that he will make E-9, I simle hugged him, thought lots of luck. Well he is in Japan now. We will see what happens in the next 2 to 3 years. Thank you for posting. P.S. I was Army 1966 thru 1969, 1st Lt. so haha he salutes me. To be real, when my Master Sgt. or my F/Sgt. spoke I listened. Bless you.

Much respect to Col. Mau on her achievements. Fighter pilot is not an easy career to choose and for the Airforce to trust a pilot with a million$ aircraft speaks a ton on her abilities. They just don’t give the keys to a sophisticated aircraft such as the F-35 to a female pilot just to be fashionable to what the woke society wants, but because she earned it and has the skills to fly it.

Washington State Democrat Congressman Adam Smith, now chairman of the House Armed Services Committee, is trying to kill the F35 program. He says he is tired of throwing money down that “rathole” for a “low capability” weapon system. He wants to upgrade a generation 4 fighter instead and stop production of F35 at around 800 units. He has no personal military experience.

U don't need to increase the percentage of women ....if they want to do it they will do it ....nobody is holding them back ...just like I saw a comment once that there needs to be more black fighter pilots. But there have been lots of back fighter pilots post Tuskegee Airmen and they were obviously very passionate about aviation. The truth is most black people are not interested in Military Aviation ....so why force them to do it just to get the percentage higher ??
