Hi! I just bought 187 Killer Pads Pro in the size "L" having 42-43cm (17 inches) knee-level circumference and the inner straps (velcros) are too short, I think - just enough to stick ~1-1,5cm :/ Is it better to opt for "XL" in this case so the straps stick with the most of the velcro surface?

That was useful information because I just ordered some for my kids

Measure with pants under, the Fly runs small.

The Fly model runs small. Measure on top of the type of pants you will wear, not against bare skin! I'm a tall woman, slender, but Large almost stopped my blood flow over my pants.

Struggling with sizing. I measure a medium (15”) and that’s what I got, followed all the instructions. Brand new I don’t feel any of the pressure from the foam folks talk about on the shin or thigh. Not hard at all to stand up straight legged. I can crank the straps down, but on their first day they slid down a little when I slid on on knees in the bowl. When I stand up totally straight, there’s “space” between my knee and the pocket of foam. I assume that’s partly because they’re made to “fill” with your knee when they bend in a fall. Just feeling like I’m having to really crank down for them to feel like they’re snugged to my knee and they’re not even broken in. Thoughts? I sweat a lot and ride in shorts, but assumed sweat would help lock them in. Had the Fly knee before in medium and the ended up stretching out and really sliding down in a fall.

Oh snap, those pro derby's might do me right. I just bought the fly knees, love em, but I'm not used to pads, because when I was a kid i was indestructible 😅

Which one is better for concrete bowls? I destroyed my small fly knees, but I really liked the lower profile for crossovers. Should I just embrace the bulk and save my 52 yrs old knees with the Pro Knee? Is the C2 better for concrete knee slides?

I’m 46, and decided to get back into skateboarding- not due to a midlife crisis, but to better my health, and to find that peace that skateboarding gave me as a teenager. I recently bought the DT board again, because it reminds me of my mom. She passed a few years ago, which has made my life even harder. Besides that, I had a point. My wife is disabled, and I care for her and my ten year old stepson, so I just bought a set of your wrist guards, and am getting them today. I’ll get the knee and wrist guards soon enough as well. Some of my childhood idols wear your products, so I feel 187 was the only route. I don’t care what People think when they see me boarding with protective gear. My paychecks are important to my family, and I’d rather break a wrist guard than my wrist. I wear a helmet too, because I’d rather have a basket on my head, than my brain in a basket. 😂

is this pad good for snowboarding?

Seriously annoying that I can never find photos of the back of pads to see if they have just have annoying straps or if they have the sleeve. Never in photos or description. Hate to just whinge but damn it makes shopping hard

What if you wear long pants... I always see people putting these pads on with short pants sure that's easy but that rotation with long pants is a lot harder...

The Pad Pack comes in Small/Medium or Large/XLarge I measured around my knee cap like the website said.. was just on the Large/XLarge just recieved mine today and the wrist guards are huge and the elbow pads are floppy!! I’m 36, 5’11” and I weigh 82kg 😑 so confusing!

I saw at 1:38 that your Pro Elbow pads are CE certified. That's EN 14120, right? Are any of your other pads CE certified? I didn't see the certifications mentioned on your website

Could you give us the sizing table? Bc skatepro has the wrong ones and I had to pay 12€ for shipping and backshipping bc they were way too small.

I just put a small piece of blue painters tape on my pads and marked the tape with an "L" or "R". makes it a lot easier for me to tell them apart. LOL

My measurements are like yours, 15" bottom and 18" top (of knee cap) If I want the 187 Slim, what is the best size to get from you?

A question. The lower inside buckle has an extra loop that you can put the strap through before pulling it back on itself. This may hold the kneepad on better / take up some slack in the strap. I note that you did not use it, or mention it. Why not, and why is it on the kneepad?

I think I just made my decision and it’s going to be the 187’s pro derby knee pads as they straighten out, and come in bigger sizes in order to customize it however you choose. Thanks for the breakdown.

The pro knee pads fixed shape like what you get off the combo pack knee pads. It looks bulky and the bottom kinda pushes on the shin bone when standing.
