Most Underrated Trail Bike Of All Time? (Suzuki Pe 175)
The first clip of the WR running is off of marketplace
Suzuki nearly went broke trying to perfect a Wankel engined motorcycle. The finished bike shared many parts with the GT750 but was not a success. It's great shame that Suzuki did not consider developing direct fuel injection for their two strokes. Emissions would be similar to a four stroke of the time and they'd keep the wonderful noise.
My older cousin bought one new in 1972 or 3?? it was fire mist orange. He had a lot of 2 stroke machines of various brands over the years.
Only knew about their IT and TT's. Awesome I want one.
I do
The honda cr125 Elsinore my first bike at age 12 I'm old now lol
Rm 125 sleeved down to 100 faf
Looks like an Elsinore 1973 CR250 beautiful bike.
2stroke ❤
I want this in .y garage with my 91 250r
Get those machines in the shop
I had this exact bike the same white color and blue seat rode the hell out of it from 96-99 best little beginner bike ever. Air cooled two stroke and takes regular gas and had a separate oil tank you put two stroke oil in that would mix itself
I had a TS400 that was absolutely stupid for a 135# 15 year old 😂😂😂 I broke it in half jumping railroad tracks. 😮
Sweet baby Jesus on a widowmaker! 😮😂😂
Moving south has made me realize how spoiled I was with the Midwestern bike market! 😂😂 down here they're all sun bleached with 45-75k really hard 600-rider miles. This one was clearly loved from day one. Nice find. It'll outlive us both! 😂😂 Honda....
I never rode one of these but they were screaming fast in it's class of mainly 4 stroke, 80cc early 4T's! Was it not based on the early KX80 engine from earlier years, though? They were pretty bulletproof but were normally blown up fast and shoved behind the garages of suburban America. As a grown up, imagine an XR50/CRF50 with a 2 stroke 80, clutch and slightly better shocks that fits in your trunk! Awe yeah, I'm 13 years old again! 😂😂😂😂😂🎉🇺🇲🔥
RM rules!
Well Suzuki and Yamaha strictly make bikes , Honda has other fish to fry it wasn’t there main focus . Anything Honda has been proven to last and be well built .
All those Hondas are prize collections .. Honda was miles ahead of the competition on the dirt and street .. example .. check out the 83 V65 Magna.. 1100cc V4 with shaft drive .. Standing Quarter mile 10.8 sec at 116 mph ..
Beautiful.
i liked that you did Not do POV video of you riding around trails, which most people making bike videos do endlessly. you have a friend shoot you riding so we see how the bike looks, how it moves, how a person looks on it. not enough people are doing this very basic thing! drives me nuts. good job.
i miss my 2 stroke Yamaha Rd 350
I got my 99 for 700 bucks. Ran ok, valve adjust, air filter, carb tuning, now it really runs great. Biggest expense for me was the rear shock upgrade. I forget the company but they are in CA and it was about another 700. They set it up for my weight and riding style. Probably my favorite dirt bike now.
Gotta love kawasaki 's. 2strokes are way more fun to ride. I've own a 250kx and now have a kx 80 2stroke, as well as a Suzuki rm 250. I m 2 stroke all the way!!!! Love the sound and power!!!!!
I miss mine.
I want one of these or a gt550. I do own the 1975 Suzuki re5 it also has the same radiator lol but it's a rotary bike
Cool. I didn’t know Suzuki manufactured a 750cc 2 stroke RB. When I was 15 in “85” my older cousin had a 750 Kaw 2 stroke. That’s the only one I know of.
How about the Yamaha? Still have one! 1985 yz60.
How reliable and fast this beast ❤
Who ever that kid was taking that thing to full Huck and scrub is a beast.
I have a 1984 xr200. Still runs great. Starts every time 1-2 kicks. Main thing I’d suggest is check the intake and exhaust valve clearance. It is pretty easy to do. They seem to get tighter as the springs age. These bike are notoriously hard to start with tight valves. Change the spark plug and run tank or two of gas through it. If that doesn’t work, you can lean the bike over for a second or two to the left (clutch side) and flood the bowls on the carburetor. It will smoke for a minute or two but this gets mine going in the winter on a cold start. Also, I’ve owned the bike for over 30 years and have never put gas with ethanol in it. Congrats on the bike. Enjoy.
"Water buffalo." 😄
Haha, CR is better......
lol dang nice way to steal someone else’s video clips
I had a 1974 but was not to impressed because it did not go faster than 110 mph so after 3 months got myself a Kawasaki 900 what had no problem doing 140 mph what I drove most of the time, still alive at 66 now
You have no business stealing those clips from other TH-camrs like Kaplin. Try not being a worthless lazy piece of crap.
Liked. Subbed. TY
Rode national enduros on one of these. Thanks for posting.
I restored one with my dad in the late 90's. He had an 1987 I still remember the differences. Front suspension and front brake
I love Suzuki...had several...dream of a Hayabusa
Honda for TRAKE ,,, kawi for desert
I rod a cr 500 back in 99 and it was a complete monster.
I've had pretty good results from getting the harbor freight soda Blaster. Think it will really clean up that bike. Also evapo rust works pretty well
Brother was 1st in navy left a GS 750 w me. Came home had 2000 more miles on it. I had a cb750 honda for crushing and the suzi for thrilling. Of course then the 900 kz ninja was king. Great times.
Classics
My god I wish I still had mine. AND my WR200
My bro owns this in India
Elsinore
Anyone else know that he chased it on that kicker I’m surprised he didn’t throw him over but one then again it’s Carson Brown so don’t get much better than that
Yes, I would love to give her a good home 🏡
