Why u spraying twice if its already basecoated ?
That's not how you do it 😂😂😂
Old school spread, nice one mate.
Nice job pal love float & set. What straight edge are you using too rule off with ?
Thanks, Jordan. I enjoyed it it's the first bit of float and set I've done for years
The straight edge is magnusson, and the serrated spat is refina
@@Esjplasteringnorthumberland nice one mate makes a change from dabbing doesn't it gives you job satisfaction 👍 and need too get one of those serrated spats everyone highly rates them
It certainly does. I wish there was more float and set work around as I much prefer it to dabbing. Them spats are quality 👌
Quality work pol👌🏻
Nice job 👍🏻 good to see someone setting walls up level rather than going over whatever is there
Thanks, that's the first 2 coat work I've done in years, and I really enjoyed it
Great job 👏
Thank you
Did you spray this in 2 passes or one mate? Looks decent
It was done in 2 passes
It's called hardwall, and yes the last picture is after being plastered with multifinish
What product did you use on the walls? Is this what I’ve heard about browning? A bit like bonding but for exterior walls etc? You’re gonna put multi finish on top of this coat I assume?
It's Hardwall. Browning is no longer produced.
I've been plastering now for four and a half decades and I think that qualifies me to say Nice tidy job that
Thank you Richard, it's always nice to hear it from a fellow plasterer
Beats the shit out of scraping that shite off
I did give it a quick scrape, but only because it had been tested and there were no asbestos in it
I have been recently converted to cork as an insulator for houses and have just come across your video. How many coats did you do? Did you do the outside of the roof? I did a similar process on my van with Nasa microspheres added to flexible resin coating. It has done 2 winters now with no signs of deterioration and cuts condensation on bare metal. I think I might add a coat of cork to the inside of my van roof as I only did one coat inside and two coats on the outside roof. The microspheres are gas filled, hollow glass spheres but don't seem to reduce noise. Cork might just do that better.
Hi dave, it can be applied in 2 coats, but I normally give it 3 coats. 1 decent first coat and 2 lighter coats after that. I only done the inside, spraycork is a natural thermal and acoustic insulation and can absorb up to 38db of noise. it's also breathable, crack resistant, and euro b safety rated
Hi. The sphere system is crack resistant and washes easily. It is wearing well too. Once I have tried the cork coating I will let you know how I get on. Cheers@@Esjplasteringnorthumberland
Coupe of extra hand boards of gear
Yes, it wasn't much extra gear, and I couldn't leave it like that it was shocking
