The bedroll was a really cool idea! One word of advice for any of you fellow sadists who keep your colonists on a strict nutrient paste diet, make sure the colonists leaving on your caravan are assigned to eat whatever you're taking on the road plus berries to avoid starvation.

I figured a video called How to build a starting base would show HOW TO BUILD A STARTING BASE. Silly me.

This is a really great guide! I have only been playing for a couple of weeks and there is still so much to learn! The two most impactful things were the bedroll thing and the berry calculation. How I could have missed all that, I don't know!!! Learn something new everyday. 😃

Does Marksman Command disable melee weapons? Because I do need some melee pawns to tank for me, and a Huskal Shield (Vanilla Expanded: Vikings) will not be enough
