If your wife is going out for dinner with another man... she doesn't love you. At that point begging, explaining, counselling, etc. is pointless. Go see a divorce lawyer, save evidence of her affair, have your friends/family ready to help, etc. File for divorce. Since you aren't working, ask for alimony, half the house and savings, she covers your health insurance, she covers half the cost of your retraining, you get the house until the divorce is finalized, etc., etc. Post publicly about her affair, see if he's married/with someone, threaten to contact her HR if she doesn't sign the divorce papers.
