So I’m scrolling through trying to find your favorite video from the short that I watched. Like you I have so many bags of feed that my girls just won’t eat. I wish I could find somewhere to donate it. Anyhow my girls only like Kalmbach Flock Maker. But they like it in a bowl moistened with water. I started my girls on flock maker and they never had the chick feed with antibiotics. I didn’t realize it didn’t have antibiotics but I’m not sad that they didn’t have it. My older chicken only likes it too. I’m feeling very guilty trying to force them on layer feed. My chicks are 21 weeks now. Age of older chicken unknown. I guess I’ll be going to the store again, in case she’s past laying age.
@ashleigh3173 oh thank you for scrolling through!!! That video is from the summer haha!. And OH WITH THE FOOD!!! I've settled on the Nutrena All Flock for everyone with oyster shell supplement for layers. They weren't taking to it out back but I held my ground hahha it took a few weeks nad they finally caved. But yes sometimes they really won't ever eat it and end up with all kind of problems, so a 2 week threshold seems to work here. Thank you so much for getting in the conversation and have a great blessed week!

Glad they are inside. Yes some say thay can handle the cold. 🥶. We do the same and bring ours in. We have a heated garage and a setup in there for them. I rather be safe for them ❤
