I've got full marks from my final and midterm thanks to your lecture videos. These videos are wonderful, came back to say thank you ❤
That was cute as spices. It was not me it was you😂
Thank you so much, Dr Reynolds.
Great lecture .
Proff Reynolds, you have given me the greatest knowledge in my study time at the University in preparation for my papers.
I’m so glad this has been helpful to you!
You have a lovely voice, and great examples. It was an enjoyable listen. Thank you!
Thank you so much!
Plz i need ppt
Great

Good afternoon are those postgraduate psychology lectures
These Introduction to Psychology lectures are designed at undergraduate college-level (US).
hi! do you have a video on research methodologies- experimental, non experimental, ex-post facto research, surveys, interviews etc?
I do - it’s spread throughout different playlists/videos - if you search “research methods,” several should show up. I’ve done them for several courses.
hey! if it possible to share your slides?
Unfortunately, I’m only able to share these slides with my current students.
this was so informative! helped me study for my exam, thank you
DR Reynolds, you are awesome! Your lecture records really hit what I need.
@@xinzhao-j4m thank you so much!! ❤️ So glad you found them helpful!
@@AlexReynoldsPhD I got an A for my second midterm exam today! Can not made it without your lecture, Dr Reynolds.
@@xinzhao-j4m congratulations!!! So glad it helped!
I love your videos! I’m 49 and took psychology in college and I loved it! It woke up something in me and I was able to have better understanding of humans and their behaviors! I want to study it in more depth!
@@ingridugarteche4301 I LOVE this! Thank you - I’m glad you’re finding the material interesting and please feel free to peruse other videos. I teach a wide variety of classes at different levels, so you should have plenty of content to check out! Psychology is fascinating for sure ❤️
Last week, I stopped drinking coffee in order to have some quality of sleep. oh boy, I experienced terrible withdrawal symptoms like headache, muscle pains, joint pains. I had no choice but to take pain meds for 2 days. It has been a week. a little better but not quite. Today drank coffee. To be honest, I feel much better and being myself again.
@@ellen0599 oh no! I’m so sorry to hear that. For some, it’s easier to cut caffeine cold turkey and feel miserable for a week or two; with others they like to try to scale back. It really depends on how dependent you are. The timing of when you consume caffeine is super important - instead of cutting it out or cutting back, maybe only have it first thing in the morning so that it doesn’t interfere as much with how tired you are at night. You can also mix a little decaf in to help you cut back when you’re ready. I hope you’re feeling better now!
Can the ppt be provided for revision?
Unfortunately, I’m only able to reply the slide deck for current students enrolled in my class.
🙏🏾 thank you for these videos
approach it

watching these videos instead of looking at my notes 😅
@@CS55CL16 😅
Thanks! you make this topic easy to understand!
Thank you so much for your lectures like literally my teacher she only gave us a textbook and summarize PowerPoint, but nothing to really learn off of, and these videos are helping me so much
You have done very well, very practical
Continue what you are doing
it really helped 😅
Thanks! This Helped me a lot
Hi! Thank you for uploading these videos. Are these slides available to download somehow ?
You're so welcome! Unfortunately, I only provide slides to students enrolled in my classes.
ma'am, i was wondering if you have any videos explaining addiction? i love your videos btw, they are really helpful as I'm new to the subject. thank you so much! much love from India❤
Thank you! Yes, I have several videos on addiction - take a look at the Biopsychology (Psychopharmacology), PSYC 4950 (Drug Use and Addiction - two videos, one about Treatment and the other Prevention), and Human Neuropsychology (Addiction, Chapter 6).
Is there a part 2
Yes! If you look at my playlist for Introduction to Psychology, then entire Chapter 11 is available. There may be some overlap with this video, but the whole chapter should be covered in several smaller chunks.
Awesome video 👏🏽 thanks for posting...it helped me in studying for finals in social psy😮
OMG, thank You so much! It was very complete description of the processes and now I know more about this phenomenon)
Psychology favourite. ❤
I don't know if you will see this or not but thank you so much for uploading the whole chapters on here, TH-cam. You saved me and I like the way you teach as well! Sending thanks to you all the way from Malaysia :)
Thank you so much for the kind words!! I wish you the best of luck on your academic journey!
thank you for the lecture. I hope I will get a great score for my midterm.
Thank you - good luck!
Can you make the first slide an introduction?
You absolutely could - this was just a tutorial for a specific assignment for my students where I wanted the title slide to be like an APA title page (same information).
Alhamdulillah, thank you
Thank you for your lectures! Currently I’m taken this course at local college and instructor doesn’t teach the content. Just goes over sample questions during class. You are phenomenal!
Thank you for your kind words! I wish you the best in your course!
Hey! What is the name of the book ?
The textbook info is at the bottom of the slide - Hockenbury’s 7th edition.
This is so amazing… your examples are great to remember the concepts.. Thank you so much for posting this video😊
Thank you, that’s very kind!
Great teacher! Unfortunately was very difficult to understand because she has a mask over her mouth (I guess it was the Corona time)
Thank you! Yes, unfortunately I was masked due to COVID/pandemic restrictions/requirements at the institution at the time, which muffled my voice greatly. I hope the subtitles are accurate enough to help with the muffled voice.
@@AlexReynoldsPhD I'm doing my introduction to psychology course right now and watch your videos. It helps me a lot ! It's similar to the curriculum of the course I'm taking! I feel fortunate I found your channel. I'm sure lots of students outside the US find your classes of great help! Thanks a lot! 🙏
Doctor can you please share with this website I really want an quiz to train my self this my mobile number you can contact with me
I’m not sure I understand what you’re asking? Quizlet is a good website you can use to create a quiz or flashcards to help you test yourself on the material.
I am from the Sultanate of Oman from Sultan Qaboos University and we have this subject called Introduction to Psychology, but unfortunately I do not have any questions to train myself on. Can you share the questions that you give your students with me? I would be very grateful to you.
Because I searched a lot and a lot and did not find anything, and by the way, I need your help in order to excel in my studies and obtain a high rate of transfer from one specialty to another.@
@@nooralshukaili7903 unfortunately, I do not share course materials with students outside of those enrolled in my class. I encourage you to seek out sites that help students - for example, Quizlet has sample flash cards that other students have created that you can use.
What text book for you using?
If you look at the bottom of the screen, it tells you what text - it’s Aronson’s Social Psychology textbook. The edition and publisher info is in the footer of the slides. I was using an older edition, but there have been newer ones published since then.
This was very helpful! Thank you Dr. Reynolds!
Thank you so much!!!
Thank you very much for this lecture. This channel is very underrated and deserves to have a million subscriber.
That is very kind of you to say, thank you!
Thanks a lot, very useful and learning full.
I'm a medical student and I found this very useful
thanks a lot❣
Is the order of the playlist the order I should watch these Psychology lecture videos in ? Just wondering bc the videos seem to have been uploaded in a different order than the playlist is in
Yes, great question! The playlist should play them in content order, not upload order. Over several years, I’ve made videos in pieces to build an entire course.
