@@cherylthomas7514 That's a really good Patch the Pirate pick. It is hard for me to pick favorites, too; but the reason I can pick is because those songs have been apart of my life in some way. My favorite is "You Are My Fortress" from The Friend Ship Mutiny (it is also on the Cherish the Moment Ron Hamilton album). This song is my theme song and has brought me through some of my greatest trials. Some of my other favorites are "Treasure of My Heart" from the Kung Phooey Kid, "Rejoice in the Lord," "God Is Good" from The Kashmir Kid, "I Saw Jesus in You," and "Lord of All" from Down Under. All of these songs hold a special place in my heart and have also been a great help in hardship.

Captain Patch lost an eye to cancer and reached millions. Even though, your husband is blind in both eyes, God can use your fiancée to do great things for him just like He can use you and me. Your fiancée was created blind for a purpose just like someone who wasn't created blind has a purpose. He can be used for great things. God has a plan.

THANK you....he's 66 and he knows God is using him. He's perfectly content with his gift. What's so strange is I met him through Pastor Stanley's you tube ministry and when he told me he was blind from birth, my heart leapt... like something joyful that God Almighty had deposited in me. Its been three years now. We've met three times. He's in PA, I'm in VA. We haven't missed a day on the phone, averaging 2-5 hours per call. He'll read scripture, and listen to episodes of Ranger Bill, listen to Dr. Jeremiah's sermons...or he'll put on a sports game for us to listen to. He even does some side broadcasting of the game showing his goofy side.🤭❤🤗...May you continue in His blessings 🙏.

Amen! Actually, I am being faced with a challenge myself right now. My uncle was diagnosed with stage 4 liver and pancreatic cancer a month ago, and today my mom got a text (about the same time you commented actually) that her brother's liver was failing, and he had hours to live. She had to buy the shortest tickets and fly out of the state. She's only in her fifties and has lost two siblings and her father, and now this happens. In spite of this, I am confident that God is still in control, and He is still on the throne. He is my Hope, and He is still good. Whatever the outcome, my hope is Jesus. No matter what the outcome, God is Good. That is another song that comes to mind, "God Is Good." Have you heard this one?

@@Stefan50326 Thank you. My uncle did pass away, but God is still faithful, He is my Hope, and He is good. Even though losing my uncle is hard, God's plan is much greater than I can see, and I need to trust Him.

@@biggestpatchthepiratefan Currently, I am preparing a Sermon for Sunday about 1. Samuel 30. When David and his people came to Ziklag and nobody was left, they were in grief, they wept until they had no more power to weep. Strong warriors, completely destroyed. They had lost what they were fighting for, their families. In Vers 6, they are about to kill David. What is he doing? David strentghed himself in the Lord and asks the Lord for guidance. After this he and his 600 pursue their enemies and have a battle for 2 days, finally they have victory. They had no sleep at all but God made them able to win. Don't feel wrong to cry, it shows you had a heart for your uncle. But please, go and strengthen yourself in the Lord our God and continue after some time to fight again. My heart is with you although I can't see you from Germany. May the Lord bless you. I'll pray for you.
