Tow/Car Dolly Straps, when it is to long, what do you do? Solved.

What do you do when you buy Tow/Car dolly straps and they are to long? Tie a knot on either or both sides to shorten the length so when tightened they do not run into the ratchet. I do not know if this is safe, so do this temporarily until you get shorter straps and at your own risk. For me personally, I see no problem with this fix and will do this long term.

I have always had trouble loading my tow dolly equally on both sides. Going in and out of the car to look. So why not paint the ramp so I know where not to drive onto and to do it in one go.

Ray Sawada passed away at the age of 38. His former junior team the Richmond Sockeyes retired his jersey, November 16, 2023. He played Professional hockey for the Dallas Stars (NHL) and the Belfast Giants (EIHL), St. John Ice Caps (AHL), Texas Stars (AHL) and the Tappara Tampere (SM-Liiga).
