Jack vs Kalin | Scripted Duel | EDOPRO
An off-screen duel that we never saw in the anime. I've seen some cool interpretations of the duel and wanted to do my own version of it.
If anyone is wondering why Jack has Skill Successor even though it's a Yusei card: The only rl trap cards he used in the anime that give a monster more attack points are Assaulted Spirit and Prideful Roar and neither were particularly good for this duel. Anyway, hope you enjoy!

Alexis really needs new support cards, stuff that synergies the cyber dancers with the cyber angels like fusion monsters and a fusion spell that tributes the materials
Yeah I definitely agree. I'm generally surprised that they decided that she never used Fusion again after season 1. What's even stranger is that her Arc V counterpart doesn't use fusion monsters, even though she lives in the fusion dimension.

In case some of you are wondering why Jaden used Legacy of a Hero instead of Fifth Hope: Cards in Edopro are placed on top of the deck when shuffled back into the deck (if the "No shuffle deck" setting is enabled). Unfortunately, I don't know how to change it so that the cards are placed under the deck instead. If any of you know how to solve the problem, please let me know.

This is a fine duel, however you added 3 cards to joey's deck that he did not have. Thats really my only complaint. but not trying to bring you down or anything. I also think gilford should have played a bigger role since that was his ace in battle city, while jinzo served a purpose similar to that of the legendary fisherman in that arc (regardless of the fact jinzo is a much better card)
Thanks for the feedback. In future videos I'll probably continue to give cards to characters that they didn't actually use in the anime. The main reason for this is that some anime cards were never printed or their TCG version is a lot worse in comparison (like card of sancity). However, I will try to give them cards that don't look completely out of place. Duelists with gamble cards, like Joey or Sartorius, will probably always have Second Toin Coss in my duels, because otherwise the duels would be a bit annoying to write. I really wanted to bring Gilford into the duel, but towards the end of the duel Joey unfortunely didn't have enough cards in his hand to summon him. As a result, I ended up choosing Gearfried instead.

Spell and trap cards definitely. But probably none of the monster cards.
It's a bit sad you didn't find a way for Joey to get back his red-eyes during the duel(monster reborn play by Joey or exchange play by Yugi). Did you plan of making tag duel?
I actually considered it but in the end I preferred the idea of Joey being able to defeat Yugi without the help of his Red Eyes. Maybe I'll do a recreation of the duel at some point where he actually uses it against Yugi, as I'm not entirely happy with some of the other plays in retrospect. Regarding tag duels: I definitely plan on doing some, but probably not right away as they take a lot of time to script. Which tag duels would you like to see?
I would like to see Arkana and Dimitri vs Joey and Atticus. Kaiba and Kaibaman vs Jaden and Supreme King.
