Part 2
2024 rubicon run. Three Hummer H3s tackle the trail in 2 days. My H3 decided to have last minute electrical issues. So I drove my suburban up to meet the guys and film the trip. Great trip. No one broke anything. Minus some ground clearance issues everything was a piece of cake.

8/26/2024 - 8/28/2024 Just a trailer or reel for our Rubicon trip this year. Didn’t get to drive my own rig for this but that allowed me to capture a decent amount of footage for my friends with whom I was able to ride shotgun with. Enjoy

6/17/2023 Quick shakedown run for the Solid Axle Swap on the H3. Been dealing with some Transfer Case issues that even still haven’t been resolved. Discovered a few things that still need to be addressed before taking it on a more serious shakedown run.
Hummer H3 Rancho Lift kit Tribute

Just a collection of clips in appreciation of the Rancho 4” lift kit. It’s a discontinued kit but it served me well. Took it on almost every type of terrain and it looked great and was comfortable. The kit has been sold and I’m moving to a different suspension setup.

2/18/2022 We join Potluck Overland in their memorial run to celebrate the passing of our friend Greg Hom. We stay at Indian Valley Reservoir for two nights. The rest of the group continue to explore more of the areas after we left and camped another night as well.

9/22/2021 - 9/27/2021 Haha. My first Overland Expo West in Flagstaff, AZ. It’s a long road and I camped halfway from the Bay Area to Flagstaff. Usal Beach 2021

7/29/2021 Camping at Usal Beach. Largest group I’ve ever camped with. Lots of kids having a blast. Maiden voyage for the SAS GMC Sierra 2500HD. It did great minus having the trailer dragging it down in the sand. Had to air down to 12 psi in order to get to the camp site. Still a lot to work out on the truck but it’s driveable and pulls the trailer well.

@@grock1544 I got mine 2 years after they were already discontinued. They found a batch of like 30 kits or something. I got one of them. But they’re discontinued

4.56 gears 4:1 locking transfer case and a stock rear locker!! I just swapped in an 07 3.7 in my adventure! Super excited!! 😅 Next is badlands diff drop, torsion key etc. And Patagonia 315s !

Excellent video! I currently live in Cali and have an 07 H3 and looking forward to wheeling it a lot ounce I go 35s. They’re such unique rigs and you hardly seem em ever. Glad to see guys out there pushing these things.
Great vid. Very impressed the IFS rig kept up with the SAS beasts for the most-part. Another bucket list trail I wanna try with my 09 H3 Adventure.
@@dubelbaril3501 oh yeah. It did great. Clearance was the biggest issue, and a front locker would have made a world of difference also

I have an '06 w/ a 2.5" lift on 35's. What are the odds of a successful trail ride?
@@chuckwalker9450 it’s doable. Don’t forget GM tested these on the rubicon. I wouldn’t do obstacles like little sluice or soup bowl. Biggest issue will be clearance. You’ll be dragging on a lot of things and need to stack rocks

Howdy. For my exhaust I deleted the muffler, used a 45* elbow to extend it back and down. And removed the secondary cat since it clogged.

Rad video and great photography. I have been wondering about this place. Are there designated areas to overnight on the beach or is it wherever you want?
The official campground is everything before the beach and creek. But there’s always a ton of vehicles camped on the beach. Just always air down your tires so you don’t get stuck
Just wondering, it seems the road is rather narrow, is the drive in and out sharing the same road or there is one way in and one way out.. must be a fun spot to spend a good or two sunny day!
There are turnouts to let others pass. But most of it is narrow

Someone said it’s closed.
I believe the road is open year round. Only reason they would close it is if there was storm damage. Clearly I was there not too long ago so I would assume it’s safe to go. There hasn’t been any rain storm or fire there recently that I know of
Beautiful scenery and a fantastic rig. really shows what can be done with these cars. The video did seem like a commercial for corporate america though - right down to the cheesy country music.

Definitely open. If it’s closed it would be because of heavy rains. I can imagine it’ll Be very slick then. There were sedans at the staging area when we went. I’ve seen prius’ also.

Looks like an great little out of the way beach!! I have some family in extreme northern Cali and they were telling me about Jackass creek beach or at least that's the one I remember he said it was a very out of the way beach and never had anyone on it but he had not been in a long time...
