At this stage in the season, these were 2 of best teams in the west. Great game!

The way i see it is like tge suns play's a modern style nba why are they not a champion team. They got some star players in their line up's too

Ppl really give lebron too much credit it’s been plenty of great passers Magic , kidd, Williams , nash, & bird ….. lebron has IQ but I’ve seen way too many legit PGS play for ppl to say lebron is the greatest anything. Steve nash was really one of the greatest pgs to grace the hardwood

This was the only time that both Nash and Amare faced off against the Pistons with Ben Wallace. Nash missed the game in Detroit this year. Then Amare was out almost all of 2005/06 and Ben went to the Bulls in 2006/07. Would have been fun to see more matchups of these two teams’ opposite styles.

The best offense at the time vs the best defense!!! It’s crazy how similar the teams were personel wise but so different style wise. Style wise Pistons wanted to grind and defend and Suns were run and gun but they both had similar players!!!

The NBA in the mid 2000's was more entertaining and enjoyable than today
They had alot of ugly low scoring games but at least the players had multiple moves not just shooting 3s like today

Such an exciting up tempo game, some great passes and spectacular shots. The last season you could argue they were more or less a dominant team. A western surprise.
I wonder if you could find the bucks/Sonics game the day off the Ray Allen, GP trade when both teams were short handed i think it was feb 20, 2003
