@jel5034 Yes Thanks jel ...... it's always nice finding full intact hammered pennies and bigger ones too , but I can't help being really chuffed to find cut quarters and cut half's...... you sort of know you must be doing things right if your lucky enough to get them ...... I've been lucky and had quite a few in the past and when you don't see them for quite a while , I start to doubt myself lol ...... 🤠👍
Hi Simon. Some lovely finds, especially the William the Lion of Scotland. I’m in the north east of Scotland and find mainly English hammies when I’m lucky enough to find any at all. Slainte 🍻
Nice array of finds, i always look forward to seeing your vlogs. After having major heart and not being able to get out, much of my day is spent on TH-cam! Thanks for the upload Simon, i hope you're well.
@julianportsmouth7001 ....... Thanks Julian ...... yes I've been waiting too last 3/4 weekends not been able to get out but should be out more often now ...... 🤠👍
Very enjoyable Simon. The algorithm not been putting your videos my way even though I’m subscribed, so time now to watch the previous videos . So a good morning ahead for me. Slainte 🍻
Hi orkidknog ....... yes was good in the sun ...... ive doing a lot of rain dodging just lately especially last year and didnt get out much , but hope to get out a bit soon ...... 🤠👍
Yes i have been detecting there over 12 years now and i know the farmer very well , znd he lets me detect on the crop until it gets too long for the detector ...... 🤠👍
Thanks jel ...... yes the Deus 2 ....... im still getting the hang of it to be honest ...... i do find that on certain targets it can be very glitchy ...... when you ate over an obvious target like a coin or medium buckle it does give you a obvious tone ...... what i do like for sure is that a few times ive detected over very thin silver paper/foil it gives a very good tone but very low numbers which i like of course , i still dig these targets but each time its been the silver paper...... next time im out im going to try Gary Blackwell's Tekkna program and give that a go 'just to try it' ...... 🤠👍
Awesome video as always Simon. Back on the field that seems to keep giving, some fantastic finds again my friend, especially that big Eddy hammered, looked almost mint condition. Well done with your other hammered, and that lovely George shilling. Thanks Simon for sharing.
