We actually worked out a better way to do it in the future, the system itself works well, excluding the fact that if your ally does something you aren't notified, so there was the sneaky renaming sure, but there also a number of times when i would check on a science vessel and my partner moved it without saying anything. we came to the conclusion we should have made 2 sectors and 2 army's and well 2 of everything id control the one he controlled the other. plus neither of us were actually good at stellaris. all in all it was a learning experience, and we may play stellaris again, but differently. So the system works fine, just sort out everything before hand, because unlike HOI4 Co-op theres not a lot of micro managing in Stellaris. Thanks for the question We actually did finish the game there just wasn't any footage of note past this, we just went full menace and just game ended.

@halfsanefox4093 understandable (I call them campaigns) can go that way sometimes. The co op aspects fascinate me so I will try to do some more testing with my group. Initially we tried to do everyone with one empire and I may still try that from a different communities perspective but without more testing I feel like it may be more annoying than anything else.

@@Gamerznation704 The big problem (for us) is that stellaris is mostly macro managing, you don't micro (to my knowledge) which leads to 2 people with nothing to do rather 2 empires with at least 1 thing to do within their borders.

@@halfsanefox4093 One of the things I thought about what was giving roles where players handle their spedific side and sectors (like you did). I think that conclusion of 2 of everything made sense, or atleast giving the player a colony ship and letting them focus on building up based on that. There may be a way vanilla wise to filter out messages from what I understand as well.

@@Gamerznation704 well in this co-op my friend doesn't know stellaris systems that well so if you watch the VODs (which i don't recommend in all honesty) I did everything but the navy, which caused a lot of fights.
