Congratulations, that's a fine radio, absolute best bang for buck. Also extremely portable, you can just take this and a reel wire antenna and you've got everything you need.
Are you happy with your H501X? I'm thinking of getting it, and would like to find out about users' opinions. Is the battery life satisfactory? How long does it run on one battery?
it is very nice, looks nice, there are 2 batteries, one lasts all day at medium volume
@@neko_adami Thanks for your reply! I read in a few comments that the sound is "wobbly" or "warbly" or something like that in SSB mode above 20 MHz, is that true? Have you tried SSB above 20 MHz?
@@cristimarcov I havent tried, but the sound is wobbly with other models like the pl-680 which I also have, but below 20 MHz it is very good and nothing is unstable
@@neko_adami I have the PL-680 as well, mine wobbles only on LSB when used on AM signals. However, the sound overall is more natural than the PL-330, which I also own. Could you perhaps try using SSB on a broadcaster signal above 20 MHz and see whether it sounds all right? If it is ok for you. Thanks for your answers!
@@cristimarcov I searched all shortwave from 20 to 30 MHz and on 25.9 MHz I came across a radiostation, in AM everything was good, but in SSB the sound was a little "rough"

Yes, it's OTHR "Container".
It's shortwave encrypted communication system Crowd-36 (Serdolik), used by russian embassies.
Wow!
I wonder why most markers use Morse code.
