My papa (grandpa) passed away the night of the 24th I found out that morning after he passed on the 25th, I was really close to my papa. This song reminds me of him. I never got to say goodbye. He didn't want a funeral or burial so my mom is going to hold onto his ashes for me. With out him here I feel so empty inside, so I sit with with hoodie on and force a smile even though I'm not ok. I don't understand why it hurts so badly. My chest aches my throat burns, and despite feeling empty inside I feel a heavy weight on my shoulders. I have to force myself to eat to drink or even to just get out of bed. Everyone says that the best way to go is your sleep and that's how he went but now I'm scared. Who will my old friend take away next? Will he come for my grandma too? Ive always seen death as a friend, I'm not scared of him. I'm scared of this empty, lonely, hallow, feeling in my heart that I can't seem to make go away. He died the night of 1/24/2022.
