I own a Anatolian Shepherd he is 10 months and 15 days he stands at 31 1/2 in and weighs 125lbs I definitely will say these dogs need exercise if not they can become a little hard to deal with😂. Love the video..👍

I had these for about twenty years and if it was raining you had to drag them out and I took them out about three times A day each walk being about two and to three miles ,had large garden and there where to mounds either side of the house So I put the sides of a large wire reel on top of each and they would lie on top of them the we’re about ten feet high And had good View from on top ,and you could set a clock they would come down off the hill and patrol round the garden And then go back up the hill and Lie down again and they would do that all day , but when they shed the coat in spring You could have made several pullovers out of the fur.

My boy looks forward to walks. He loves the water. Swimming is a great way for him to burn energy.

We rescued two, Anatolian Shepherd / Pyrenees Shepherd mixed sisters @ 15 weeks old. Today @ 6 months old their both over 50 lbs ! Very sweet, loving and STRONG !! Kangal’s and Anatolian’s are basically the same Breeds from the Anatolian Mountains in Turkey while the Pyrenees Shepherds (Great Pyrenees) hail from the Pyrenees Mountain range between Spain and France. Both breeds Excel as LSG dogs as well as Loyal Family members. They Must be trained with kindness and TRUST over Discipline, Hitting & LOAD NOISES otherwise, … their Intelligence combined with their Sizes and Independent nature will be an Insurmountable obstacle once their Adults. Socialization both with other people and animals at a young age are, equally as imperative to raise these beautiful loving souls !

The Anatolian shepherd and the Kangol are NOT the same dog breed. For starters, the Anatolian reaches about 120 lbs. Kangols have been known to reach 160 - 165 lbs. and have a much stronger bite pressure (700-750 lbs.) than any Anatolian. Just like English and French Bulldogs have similar traits, they are two separate breeds.

There great living with my goats and chickens on the farm, they stay on the farm and do their job 😊😊😊

We have a Kangal dog as our pet on our acre property. Excellent guard dog, and great with our young kids. He looks after our chickens. He knows who he needs to know and is wary of people who he doesn’t know. He is 16 months old and 70kg. Just his size is enough for people to stay away. Great dog.
