Bought one Just like that one for $1800 when I was 16 (1990) and it had 57,000 on it. Only ran out of gas Once.. Wish it had a Fuel Gauge. Traded it for a Motor Home in 1999 and got $2500 for it. Just got another one 3/25/2022 with only 28,000 on it for $2200 but it does need a Valve job/Adjustment but can be driven as is. Came with a Front Cowl, Not attached, and someone made it HD style exhaust.. I got on it after all these years and Daaaammmmmmnnnnn it felt Soooooooo goood to be back on it. UPDATE: Just a Week after having it, Engine Went to Shite! and could barely move itself under it's own power. Just got it back a 2 Years Later after shop put in a New Engine and went over it and the Carbs and and and... Just under $5,000 into restoring it. Got home and my right leg was Wet... Oil! Sprayed Oil Everywhere... Have to take it back... YEA!

If it says”Universal” 9 times outta 10 it isn’t lol. I got a Tall Boy seat for my 23 Freewheeler that was fit just for that trike. For your seat did it “say” fits Freewheeler? If the seller has returns you should be ok, if not you’ll likely have to sell it private. Good luck.

It really is a bad design. I dont know what Chevy was thinking.. My 2011 Malibu sunroof has leaked 4 times since I’ve had it due to disconnection. The first two times it was under warranty so I could bring it to the dealer. It was great cause they sucked out the water and dried it over a few days, but they just reconnected the hose! Which inevitably popped back out again… finally took it elsewhere the 3rd time and they used silicone caulking when reattaching it. That actually resolved the issue much better. I’m here now cause after years it’s leaking again. But I’m trying to resolve the issue on my own now. I’m hoping they are just clogged but if not, this video will help me gain access to the tubes and I’ll get some silicone caulking and reapply it.

All ways though that the Carolinas had the worst roads their interstates are bumpy as all getout

Do you have any trouble with the stator ?

A 2021 motorcycle being called a classic is odd, But your talking HD.( Hardley Developed) Harley's are crudely archaic & outdated even when new. A true classic would be a AMF- FLH but who would even want one of those bikes,, A Pan or Knuckle head is a far better choice. You can actually work on those bikes yourself..

how did you put on the stator all I saw was your back

Back in 1984 I bought a Brand new still in the crate 1981 CB650 from Honda of Mineola. Had it for 5 months before it was wrecked, I loaned it to a friend of mine and that's when I learned the hard way never lend your motorcycle to anyone, lol You brought back memories with your CB750, thank you!!

How do you find it handles in curves at highway speed? My local Harley Davidson dealer doesn't have any until the end of June and I want to test drive one but have no idea how it handles

Bought one back in 1989, I was 16. Had 56,000 or 26,000 Don't remember. Lived in Minnesota. Rode that thing all the time once it was warm enough. Only thing I wish it had was a Gas Gauge. Ran out once while on the interstate. Lucky it was able to coast UP Hill on the Off ramp and back down the hill 1/4 mile to the nearest gas station... Had it almost ten yrs before I traded it for a Motor Home to move to Mississippi. Now I was 6ft 4in and Pushing 250pounds when I had it. I felt just right on it, never too small for me... Well, I just recently picked up another one, Same 81 CB750 Custom with only 27,000 on it. I am still 6ft 4in and It feels Small... Plus it acts and feels like it was abused by the guy who owned it before me because he rides Dirt Bikes and feels like he treated this one like one of those.... Valves are Maxed out. Exhaust leak off the heads, Start won't engage all the time, Did something to the exhaust to make them louder ( plate with holes around the outer edge) chain is to the max and few other things. Still a good price at $2200. Came with a Cowl that would have made it look like a Gold Wing but didn't fit and one Luggage Rack, other was missing. Bike itself Looks Good. Minor scraps and scratches, none to the steel. Seats will need recovered and now... me being 48.. having a hard time getting my leg up and over the seat :) :) But once on and actually riding it, Still feels good, just a bit small and the shifter feels out of place... Maybe one day I can have it properly restored... one day..

Don't take out the programmer in between programming each remote. Every time you take out the programmer or turn the key, it starts a new programming session. Program all remotes in the same session. Turn the key, insert the programmer, program all of the remotes, then remove the programmer, etc.

I'm about to do this job tomorrow and I was looking for a quick overview. Looks pretty straight-forward! Thanks for documenting this for everyone. I found the video you were talking about with the guy making faces hahahaha!
