This hasn't really worked though. The lighter areas of the flower have been made transparent as well 😕.
if you want to increase the black outlines of the flower try duplicating the layer ( try it several times)
How would you do the opposite? Dotted lines to solid instead of painstakingly with the pen or brush?
if you mean to go from dotted lines to solid on the same line, try using a layer mask and a black and white gradient to reveal and hide the parts you want
